TheForkUserWhat a lovely restaurant. I’d made reservations based solely on chance (and the fact that I could reserve it on The Fork) and I was not at all disappointed. At the last minute I added an extra person and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. I failed to tell them ahead of that she was vegetarian and they were a little flummoxed but recovered quickly. I didn’t realize it was a choice of Prix Fixe menus (with choices therein) hence the hesitation on their part. The food was amazing. Small plates (as one does in fancy French restaurants). And the menu only listed 4 courses. But there were a couple amuses-bouches and an extra dessert so we were quite satisfied with the meal. I requested a wine selection with the lamb and it was perfect. I only wish I’d taken a picture of the bottle. All in all a lovely first evening in Roanne

3. Pasta Bianca

TheForkUserWe ate very well, even if the main course seemed a little light, to the point of ordering a small cheese platter for two to complete the meal. This was a first for us, but we didn't regret it. The Italian cheeses were excellent! The tiramisu was good but not amazing... I'm setting the bar high, but with a 9.4 rating, we expect excellence, right? I'll give it a try! It's still a great Italian restaurant on Viefranche, the service was impeccable, as were the owners. Thanks again for the famous limoncello!

TheForkUserEverything was perfect, except we were not seated close to the river and we booked well before our dinner. One more thing, when we order taxi, it came only after 20 min in 9:30 pm, you have to count on this.

TheForkUserGood setting and atmosphere on the terrace.Efficient and quick service by staff during lunch time.The starter - Autour de la Mer was ok.The Main dish - Filet de canard was delicious, The sauce was nice and the meat was juicy and fresh with a good balance of side dish.The Dessert- Sorbet colonel blended well with the diced pineapples. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. I will be back to note other dishes in the near future.

TheForkUserWe liked everything about this cool, calm restaurant decorated in natural tones of beige and wood. Excellent choice of organic wines and a fairly priced menu of well-prepared, seasonal dishes made for a delightful evening.
