Solid burger spot in Aarau. Patty was well-made, decent price for what you get. Fries were a bit meh though. Quick enough for a lunch stop.

The glass noodle salad was worth remembering to pre-order — fresh herbs and a nice tang. Portions are generous for the price. Service felt a bit rushed, but the food made up for it.

Solid schnitzel and the service was on point. They even brought a little spaetzle for my colleague to try, which was a nice touch. Would've loved a better wine list to go with it, though.

Pizza was solid, no complaints. Crust had a good chew, sauce wasn't too sweet. Place gets busy around 7, so expect a bit of a wait. Prices are fair for the portion. I'll be back when I don't feel like cooking.

Tried the beetroot burger with truffle mayo fries. Pretty solid actually. The patty held together well, not mushy like some veggie burgers. Fries were decent too, though a bit salty for my taste. Place was busy around lunchtime. Got my food quick enough. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Maria and Sarah were so warm and attentive—honestly made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. Just wish we’d had a bit more time to linger.

The grilled fish was really well done — crispy skin, juicy inside. Staff kept checking if we needed anything, which I appreciated since it got busy later. The wooden interior gives it a cozy, local feel. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, but that's pretty normal for this area.

We sat down for a family thing and honestly the chairs were so comfortable we didn’t wanna leave. The owner came by a few times, made sure everything was alright. Food was good too, the à la carte menu had some nice options. Place felt relaxed, not too loud. Maybe a bit slow between courses but we weren’t in a rush anyway.

Came here for the tapas and honestly the flavors were solid. Some dishes arrived lukewarm though, which was a bit of a letdown. Service took a while too, but the staff seemed genuinely trying to make up for it. For what we paid, I just wish the pacing was a bit tighter.

The hummus and falafel were really good, and the owner made us feel welcome. Just a heads up, it’s tiny so you need to book ahead.

Steak tartare and entrecôte were solid. Café de Paris sauce did the job. Service friendly but a bit slow. Decent spot if you're nearby.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Place is big, terrace looks nice but I sat inside. Got the grilled fish, came out fresh and hot. Not fancy, just solid cooking. Service was quick enough, no complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but the quality is there. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Drinks were solid and the staff pointed me to something I ended up liking. Weekend crowd gets loud, but it's a decent spot to hang out.

Food was decent for the price, but that new touchscreen ordering system is a bit of a pain. Laggy screens and the wait felt longer than it should've. Staff were friendly enough though.

Stumbled in here by accident and honestly so glad we did. The pasta with local cheese was the star — simple but so good. A bit slow to get our drinks, but perfect for a chill catch-up with friends. 😊

Sat at the counter and watched the chefs work their magic—so precise and calm. Food was solid, service chill. Good spot for a low-key catch-up with friends.

Had the Pappardelle Imperiale. Homemade pasta, pretty good. Menu's large, lots to pick from besides pizza. Mine was decent, though I wouldn't say it blew me away. Fine for a casual dinner.

Loved the vibe here — the downstairs bar is super cozy and perfect for catching up with friends. Staff were friendly too. Would come back for a relaxed night out.

The lighting was so warm and cozy, made the whole place feel inviting. Food was tasty too, and they took us in even though we came late.

Cocktails were solid and didn’t break the bank. Menu changes often, which keeps it interesting. Gets pretty loud and packed on weekends though.

Came here with a couple of friends after hiking and honestly it hit the spot. Menu’s huge—Asian stuff and Swiss classics, so everyone found something they liked. Prices are fair for what you get, especially for the portion sizes. Not the most exciting place ever, but it’s a solid backup plan when nobody can decide what to eat 😄

Came here for lunch and grabbed the sushi set. Fish was properly fresh, not the usual sad supermarket vibe. Rice had the right vinegar kick too. Place is pretty bare-bones, no mood lighting or anything, but honestly that's fine when the food's this solid. Just wish they'd put a bit more wasabi on the side.

Service was solid, food decent. Portions felt small for the price though, especially the meat. Fine for a quick stop if you're nearby.
