Came here for a quick lunch, honestly wasn't expecting much. Got the daily pasta special. For £9.50, the portion was huge, I couldn't finish it all. Exactly what I needed.

Good choice of beers, and the live music was decent. I liked the vibe here - it's a proper spot for a pint and some tunes. The lighting was just right, not too bright.

A proper pub feel here, the kind that's getting harder to find. They've kept the old wooden bar and the lighting is just right - not too bright. It's a comfortable spot to settle in for a quiet pint.

A solid spot for a drink in the city centre. Prices are definitely fairer than the other pubs on this street. Found the seating inside to be a bit cramped, though. Still, it's a comfortable place to unwind.

The John Brodie is a fantastic local pub with a great selection of drinks and an extensive food menu. The staff are always accommodating and make you feel welcome, even bringing treats for our dog!

Nice spot to sit outside and watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon. The outdoor chairs were comfy, which made it easy to relax. Just a simple, pleasant place for a casual drink.

Outstanding! We were well looked after from start to finish especially with respect to allergens. A massive thank you to Natalia. Thank you also to Lee and Judah. Lots of food and drink choices. Would definitely recommend.

The vintage jukebox is so cool! It actually takes old 50p coins and plays 80s hits. Gave it a go while waiting for our mains, felt like a fun little time capsule.
