Stumbled upon this spot on a walk. The grilled mackerel was just right—crispy skin, moist inside. A bit pricey, but the cozy wooden interior on a cold night made it worth it.

The soba noodles have a lovely, firm bite. I had the tempura soba—the batter was so light and crisp. It was just a really nice, simple bowl.

The zaru soba was thin and chewy, a nice sweet note to it. But the inaka soba stole the show for me—so thick and firm, you really taste the buckwheat. A crisp, dry sake was the perfect match for that earthy flavor.

Food is designed to go with their wines. The blue cheese mousse was a standout for me. The barracuda spaghetti was also good, though the portion felt a bit small for the price.

The sake selection is impressive, and the small plates highlight fresh ingredients nicely. A good spot for a light bite.

Been coming here for years, and the breakfast buffet's always solid. The salads and breads keep me coming back. Coffee refills are a plus, makes the morning easy.

The 8-course tasting menu was a steal for what we got. Each dish was so thoughtfully put together, especially the little surprise between courses. Felt like a proper treat without breaking the bank.

Nice spot for a drink outside. Their hot chocolate is thick and rich, almost like a dessert. I paired it with a small glass of port, which cut through the sweetness nicely. A bit pricey for the size, but a good combo for a relaxed afternoon.

The soba noodles had a lovely texture, and the pickles were crisp and well-balanced. You can tell they really think about where their ingredients come from. It's a simple dish, but that care makes a difference.
