We came here twice during our trip and honestly the salad bar kept pulling us back. Everything was fresh and they had this one dressing I couldn't figure out but loved. Staff were nice too, not overly chatty which I appreciated. Just a solid spot for a relaxed meal.

The grilled fish was fresh and the portion generous. I liked that the waiter checked on us just the right amount, not too pushy. Place was a bit loud for my taste, but the food made up for it. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick dinner and the place is clean, modern, nothing fancy. Owner was friendly, staff sweet. Got the casado, portion was decent for the price, didn't leave hungry. Not the most mind-blowing food but for what you pay it's fair. I'd come back if I'm in the area and want something simple.

The gallo pinto with eggs was solid and the fresh juice made it even better. Good spot for a quick breakfast.

The service here was really friendly, and I appreciated that they didn’t rush us at all. I had the Vietnamese-style bowl with fish on top—very tasty, though not quite what I pictured. The seating was comfortable too, which made it easy to just sit back and enjoy the meal. A nice, low-key spot for a relaxed dinner.

Came back twice during our trip, that says it all. The lomo saltado was spot on, and honestly didn’t expect that kind of wine list here in Costa Rica. Place has a nice vibe inside, warm but not try-hard. Just wish they had a bit more space between tables, felt a little close. Still, solid pick.

The vegan cooking class was really nice. We made some good dishes and the instructor was patient. The gluten-free chocolate chiffon cake though, that was the highlight for me. Light and not too sweet. I'd go back just for that slice. Wish the class was a bit longer, but overall a good afternoon.

Cozy spot in Barrio Escalante, loved the vibe inside. Staff were friendly and the food came out quick. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but overall a nice place to hang.

Banana nut cake was solid — good way to close out the meal. Server stayed on top of things, checked in without hovering. Place was busy but we didn’t feel rushed. Would come back if I’m in the area again.

The whole fish was tasty but the price felt kinda off—like they charged by market rate or something. Also had a few flies buzzing around while we ate, which was a bit annoying. Still, the flavors were solid and I’d probably come back for the fish, just maybe not during peak hours.

Came here with a couple friends and grabbed food from the Ukulele stall. The vegan burrito was actually really good, not dry at all. Lots of seating inside and out, so we just chilled for a while after eating. Staff were nice too. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The focaccia chicken sandwich was the reason I came back. Chicken stayed juicy, bread held up without getting soggy. That little soup starter on the side was a nice touch too. Sugar-free smoothie surprised me, not overly sweet. Place was busy but service kept up fine. I'd grab it again if I'm in the area.

Solid neighborhood find—the area’s buzzing with bars and restaurants if you want to keep the night going. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but I’d come back for the vibe.

We stopped for lunch and the peacock wandering around the garden was such a nice touch. I had the gluten-free pasta and it was actually really good, not an afterthought like most places. Wine list had a few nice options too. Service was a bit slow but the setting made up for it.

Been coming here for a while now, and honestly the coffee keeps me hooked. Grown right on the property, that’s something you don’t find often. Had the French toast this morning too, eggs taste like they just came from the farm. Breakfast is the meal I look forward to most when I stay. Place just stays consistent, that’s why I keep coming back.

The outdoor seating area is really comfortable, especially with the cover. Our server was attentive and the food came out tasty. Easy spot to stop by when you're at Cariari Mall.

The staff took my gluten allergy seriously, which I appreciated. But honestly, the best part was just how chill the space felt. Not chaotic like a lot of places around here. I could actually hear myself think while eating. Food was decent too, but that calm vibe is what I keep remembering.

The tasting menu here is a whole evening thing—they even send you home with a little souvenir. Food's solid, though I wasn't blown away for what it costs. Still, the experience itself makes it worth it.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and beer. Staff was attentive, place was clean and pretty. The view is the real highlight—makes me want to come back for a proper meal.

The atmosphere here is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. The owner is very friendly and ensures that every guest feels welcome.

The coconut flan was solid. Sweet but not too heavy, exactly what I needed for a quick break. Place was busy but I got my order fast. No complaints. Would grab it again if I'm in the area.

Butter chicken was solid, garlic naan fresh outta the tandoor. Samosas crispy, chai had a good kick. Place was pretty busy but we got seated quick. Probably the best Indian spot I've hit around here so far. Service kept it simple, no complaints. Maybe a bit pricey for the portion but I'd go back.

The grilled octopus was the only thing I remember. Cooked right, tender, smoky enough. The rest of the plates were just okay, nothing I'd order again. Maybe a bit overpriced for what you get. But that octopus, yeah, I'd come back for that.

The falafel here is seriously good. I've tried a lot of places and this one stands out. The place is clean and the food is halal, which I appreciate. I just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but honestly, the falafel makes up for it. I'd come back just for that.

Been coming here for a while now. The ceviche is still the reason I show up—fresh every single time. Calamari's solid too, never greasy. Place looks a little tired, sure, but I don't really care about that when the food stays this consistent. It's a bit pricey, but I keep coming back.

Stopped by Saturday around 5, place was pretty empty. Paella was good, no complaints. Service was fine too. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price.

The crispy pork belly with that honey chili crisp and coconut cream was unreal—easily the best bite I’ve had in a while. Wish they’d offered a wine pairing to go with it though.

Decent wine list and the service was fine. The beef tenderloin, flamed tableside, came out a perfect medium rare. Pretty good spot for a quiet dinner.

The beef carpaccio with red miso was the standout—duck was good too. Portions are big enough to share, so keep that in mind.
