Last minute decision which led to the best food of our holiday. Quality ingredients, freshly prepared, air conditioned restaurant, great for high 30 degree temperatures and very reasonably priced. Muito bom!

We visited pre show so only had an hour but the excellent food came quickly and we made our deadline. Loved the ambiance of the place too. Between us we had the burger and shrimp risotto and sea bass. All were fantastic! Highly recommended.

Stopped by for a quick treat in Loulé. Those miniature pastries are a smart move—you get to try a few without filling up. Quality was solid.

O Rei de Espeta serves tasty BBQ skewers Brazilian style. The service was fantastic and Graziella was a very friendly and welcoming host. There is a large selection of tasty skewers and side dishes to choose from. We especially enjoyed the BBQ sausages (salsichas), chicken skewers and the pork sirloin. Also the feijoa preto, a Brazilian side dish was superbly prepared by the cheerful ‘chefa de cozinha’. The feijoa was well seasoned, filled with bacon and chorizo chunks and slow cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our dinner at O Rei and would definitely recommend giving this Brazilian BBQ a try, you won’t be disappointed.
