Popped in for a late lunch. The omelette was spot on, fluffy and cheesy. Coffee was decent. Staff were really welcoming, which was nice after a long morning. Handy they have parking out back.

Stumbled upon this spot on a walk. The cheese and onion pie was really good, and the price was decent.

The Thai sweet potato soup was the standout for me. Really creamy with a nice kick of spice, perfect for a chilly day. The menu's got a lot going on, but I'd probably just come back for that soup again.

The window tables have such a lovely view of the bay. A nice spot for a coffee, the ingredients in my salad tasted really fresh too.

The full English breakfast is a good deal. Sausages had a nice snap, the bacon was properly crispy, and the black pudding was spot on. The beans were a bit too sweet for my taste, but the eggs were cooked just right. Solid portion for the price.

Lovely little find in Bashful Alley! Great spot for a catch-up with a friend over coffee and cake. They've got some nice veggie and gluten-free choices too.

The full English was solid, especially the Cumberland sausage - proper flavour. Flat white hit the spot. Service slowed down when they got busy, but that just meant more time to chat with my mates.

My regular spot in Kendal. The meze dishes are really nice, but I'm always here for the freshly baked borek - it's so good I usually grab an extra one to take away. They've got loads of vegan choices too.

Been here a few times, it's always packed. Staff are nice enough, but you do wait a bit for your food when it's heaving. Not a deal-breaker, just how it is.

Cozy spot, really clean inside. I liked the little details in the ladies' room, like the nice hand soap and fresh flowers. The whole place just feels fresh and looked after.

The staff were so sweet playing Happy Birthday for my friend's little one! Made the whole table smile. Food was good for the price too.

Popped in for lunch in Kendal. Their quiche was spot on today, really good pastry. Grabbed a slice of lemon drizzle cake to go. It’s become my regular spot.

Popped in for a quiet afternoon tea. The pumpkin spice latte was spot on—really good flavour, not too sweet. The cake was a bit dry though. Nice spot to unwind.

Been coming here for lunch for years now. That consistency is what keeps me coming back - you know exactly what you're getting, and it's always solid. A proper local spot.

Love popping in here with mates for a quick catch-up. The sausage rolls are always warm and flaky, perfect for sharing over a coffee. It's just a really nice, relaxed spot.

Always a solid choice in town. The bread is fresh, you can smell it baking. The fillings are so pretty, it feels like a little treat just looking at them.

The steak here is the thing. Cooked exactly as I asked, really good flavour in the meat itself. Juicy, with a nice char on the outside. It's what I come for.

Had to queue but it was worth it. The Eggs Royale here is different – they use a proper, thick fillet of their own smoked salmon, not those flimsy little slices you get everywhere else. Really made the dish.

The vegan breakfast here is a solid choice. The toasted veg was a nice touch, gave it a good texture. Menu's got a decent range for plant-based options, which is handy.

The kayaking was great, but the real star was the cafe's chocolate scone after. Still warm, flaky with big chocolate chunks. That alone made the trip worthwhile.

Great spot for a quick bite. Hot chocolate with cream and a marshmallow hit the spot, brownie was properly gooey. Got a treat for the dog too, which is a nice touch. Service was quick, in and out in no time.

Lovely light space, stays calm even when a crowd. The creamy chicken and mushroom dish was spot on - rich but not heavy, and the roasted veg still had a bit of bite. Just what I needed for a quiet lunch.

Breakfast was spot on, food came out hot and tasty. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with mates before the day gets busy. The vibe is just right for a group.

Popped in for a coffee and a slice of carrot cake. The cake was spot on, really moist and not too sweet. Staff were lovely and kept things moving even when it got busy. No complaints.

The Buddha bowl was lovely, especially the warm falafel and coronation sauce. The homemade cakes looked tempting too. My only small note is that the chairs are a bit hard for a longer sit.
