Came back for the third time and Paula still remembers our usual order. That kind of consistency keeps me coming. Dessert was on the house again, nice touch.

The lobster brioche with duck liver and truffle sauce was the star — so rich and buttery. Daily fish was fresh too, though I wish there was more of it. Service was lovely.

The aglio e olio was spot on—garlicky, simple, done right. You can watch them cook it fresh at the open kitchen. Solid spot for a quick bite.

The hummus and shrimp croquettes were tasty, and sitting outside was nice for watching people. Service was friendly enough, though they were a bit busy.

Stopped by before opening time and the owner still served us coffee with a smile. Nice little spot for a quick caffeine fix.

Stopped by for a quick lunch, got the spaghetti aglio e olio. Cooked right, garlic and parsley came through nicely, wasn’t greasy at all. Friend had the pepperoni pizza, thin crust was properly crispy. Place felt chill for a weekday, nothing fancy but solid.

Pastries were pretty good, even for a picky French palate. The shop layout is a bit odd, but worth it.

Stopped by for a quick bite and a drink. The artichoke was surprisingly good, and the tartare had a nice kick to it. Staff were friendly enough to help me pick. Portions are a bit small though, I could’ve eaten another round easily. Still, solid spot if you’re not starving.

Small place from the outside but it opens up nicely inside. Loved the old photos on the walls. Bartender was friendly and let us take our time choosing. Fine for a casual drink.

The veggie burger was properly good—lots of flavor, not one of those dry ones. Prices are a bit steep though. But the beer list saved it for me. Nice to have some decent options for once.

Stopped by for a coffee and a quick bite. Place looks nice, pretty cozy inside. Prices are a bit steep, but you expect that around here. Food was fresh, service was quick and friendly. Can't complain, though I wouldn't make it a regular spot. Fine for what it is.

Came here around noon, place was packed but the line moved fast. Got my sandwich in like five minutes, staff was chill about it. Bread was fresh, filling was solid. Nothing fancy but exactly what you need for a quick lunch.

Parmi and fish and chips were proper. Closest thing to home I've had in a while. Fish was crispy, not greasy. Some staff are Aussies too, felt familiar. Bit of a wait for the table but whatever. Solid feed.

The butter chicken is a must-try! The flavors are rich and satisfying, and the friendly staff makes the dining experience even better.

The hot dog was solid and didn’t break the bank. I liked the build-your-own avocado sandwich idea, though the avocado was a little too ripe for my taste. Staff were friendly enough when we walked in. Place is small but has a decent vibe. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, the chairs felt a bit flimsy.

The steak was really the star—so tender and buttery. Sides were just okay, but honestly the meat alone makes me want to come back.

The pea soup hit the spot on a chilly day, and the green smoothie was a solid pick. Window seat gave us a nice view of the flower market. Waiter was friendly enough, though things moved a bit slow. A glass of dry white would've paired well with the soup.

We came with a big group and they handled it really well. Food was solid, portions decent. Been here a few times now, still consistent.

The apple crumble and hot chocolate hit the spot on a cold day. Nice spot to hang out with friends, they’ve got board games and a relaxed vibe. Drinks were decent.

We were looking for a quiet comfortable restaurant with affordable prices. THIS was the best place because it is near the Artis Zoo in quiet neighbourhood. Food was excellent and large portions (to split if needed). Waitress was super helpful and chatted with us about Amsterdam. We will definitely return!

The sambal steak had a proper kick to it, really well done. Would've loved a bold red wine to go with it though. Might be back for that.

Found this spot on a side street, pretty solid Dutch food. Had the apple pie with ice cream after, warm and simple. Good enough for a casual stop.

Nice spot by the canal, pretty chill. Had the mango chicken salad and the Serrano ham & burrata sandwich, both were fresh. Bill for four was decent too.

Been coming here for a while now. The live jazz on weekends is what keeps me coming back. Good beer selection too, though it gets packed fast.

The smash burger with grilled onions, mushrooms and bacon was pretty good. Maybe not the best ever, but definitely one of the tastier ones I've had recently. Place is small but clean. Staff were friendly enough. Just wish the fries were a bit hotter when they came out. Decent stop if you're in the area.

The steak came out exactly how I asked — juicy, tender, no fuss. Server checked on us just the right amount, not hovering. Honestly that's all I need from a place like this. 10/10 from me.

Tried the Algerian pizza and couscous here—both had real depth of flavor, the kind of cooking that feels personal. Staff actually took a moment to walk me through the menu, which I appreciated. Pairing it with a glass of red worked better than I expected. Slightly on the pricey side, but the food carried it.
