The shrimp cheung fun was solid—big pieces of shrimp, proper texture. Most of the other customers were Chinese, which says enough. Portion was decent for the price too.

Came here after visiting someone nearby. Got the bitterballen and a beer. The bitterballen were crispy outside, hot inside, proper mustard on the side. That hit the spot. Just wish they were open a bit later. Closed too early for my liking.

Dutch and Indian burgers, nice twist. Spicy sauce actually has a kick, meat was solid. Onion rings were meh though, get the fries instead.

Lovely spot right on the water, and the food was tasty. Service was slow though—took ages to get our bill. Nice setting, but they could improve that part.

Decent burgers, nothing fancy but pretty good. Ordered the classic cheeseburger and it hit the spot. Kiosk ordering was easy, place was clean and not too busy on a weekday afternoon. Plenty of seats. Fine if you just want a quick bite without any fuss. Maybe not the best I've had, but solid enough.

The shoyu ramen had a proper deep flavor, easy to add extra toppings. Place was alright on a weekday night, though the interior's looking a bit tired.

Decent spot right by Zuid station. Burger was well-priced and they didn't mind tweaking the order. Fine for a quick stop.

Small cozy place, felt like eating at someone's aunty's kitchen. Aloo gobi was fresh, naan came out warm and soft. Service quick and friendly. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

Solid espresso, nice and strong. The place has that raw industrial look, fits the neighborhood. Pastries come from Petit Gateau, pretty good. Baristas know what they're doing. It's a bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for the quality. Fine for a quick stop.

Stumbled on this bakery while walking along the canal and ended up staying longer than planned. The downstairs seating looks right out over the water, which is pretty nice. Got the chocolate-dipped croissant — that thing was seriously good, flaky and not too sweet. Bathroom was clean too, always a plus in my book.

The bakabana with peanut sauce was so good I almost ordered another plate. Cozy little spot, nothing fancy, but the flavors felt proper. Prices are fair for what you get.

The truffle mayo with parmesan on the fries really works. They came out hot and fresh, not soggy at all. Good pick if you're into loaded fries.

Came for one beer, stayed way longer than planned. That bartender just knows how to keep a conversation going. Good tap list too. Place had this nice buzz—busy enough to feel alive, not so packed you can't move. Exactly the kind of afternoon I needed.

Bagels were solid and the price felt fair for Amsterdam. Nice spot if you just want a quick, easy breakfast without any fuss.

The loaded fries were really tasty and the place had a nice buzz. It does get busy though, so grabbing a table took a bit of waiting.

I had a fantastic afternoon tea at this restaurant, where the ambiance was elegant and the service impeccable. The variety of teas and the quality of the food made it a memorable experience.

White hot chocolate was decent — creamy, not too sweet. Good spot to kill 20 minutes before a train. They sell chocolate spoons too, kinda gimmicky but nice for a gift.

The pancakes were honestly the highlight—fluffy and cooked just right, with eggs done exactly how I asked. Place looks a bit more basic in person than the photos online, but that didn’t bother me. Staff were friendly, though service dragged a little when it got busy. Fine for a casual brunch stop.

Good food as always. We came mainly for their Peking duck which is always moist and tender. Note that the skin is not separately served. Pleasant, prompt service.

The new owner took real care with our order. That Tandoori pizza had such a good herb kick to it. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Walked in without a booking, got a table straight away. Lychee cocktail was good, pasta had real flavour. Meringue cake’s the one to get.

The meat quality here is genuinely good—you can tell they know their way around a grill. It’s not cheap, but honestly, you get what you pay for. The free çiğköfte and tea at the end were a nice touch, though the seating felt a bit cramped. Still, I’d come back for the food alone.
