I was really impressed by their coffee menu, it's so creative and artistic. The scones were fantastic, served with proper butter, cream, and a choice of jams.

Been going here for years. The roast chicken is always spot on, crispy skin and juicy inside. Had it again last night, just as good as ever. Place was a bit busy, but that's a good sign.

Lovely historic stone building, really enjoyed the atmosphere. It does get quite busy at lunch, but the staff were very patient. Had a toasted panini, simple and tasty. A comfortable spot for a quiet bite.

The mac and cheese is a standout. Creamy, generous portion, and the cheese blend works. Took the family, and they handled the different orders efficiently. A solid choice for a straightforward meal.

The staff were so kind helping with our toddler's meal. And that homemade millionaire shortbread was a treat!

Really liked the food here. The lamb shank was spot on, tender and full of flavour. It's a social enterprise, which is a nice touch. A bit pricey, but you can tell they put care into the cooking.

Pistachio cannoli with my coffee. That’s it. The filling was spot on, not too sweet. Shell held up. Just a really good pastry.

Lovely little neighbourhood spot. The staff are so friendly, it feels like a proper local cafe.

The fruit scone was the star. Perfectly crumbly texture, just the right amount of fruit, and served warm with proper clotted cream. The rest of the breakfast was good, but that scone was on another level.

The ribeye was cooked just right, really juicy and full of flavour. Honestly, one of the best steaks I've had in ages. The staff were lovely too, very friendly and on the ball.

Service here is a real standout. The staff are genuinely friendly, remember your name, and they take the time to chat. It feels personal, not like those big chain places. The barista even suggested a nice red to go with my steak pie, which was spot on.

Christmas Eve breakfast here. Service was spot on, they really looked after us. Food was tasty, the full English hit the spot. Nice atmosphere in the dining room. Bit of a wait for a table, but expected on the day.

Cosy spot with a relaxed vibe. The wine list had a few nice surprises for a casual lunch.

The hot chocolate was so rich and creamy, a proper treat on a cold day. It's clearly a student favourite, the vibe is relaxed and cosy. The milkshakes looked great too, might try one next time.

I love how fresh the avocado was on the toast here. It was perfectly ripe and the portion was generous. The coffee was a nice complement. The space itself felt very clean and bright, which I always appreciate.

Dog-friendly spot with treats for our pup. Clean, airy inside. Had a gluten-free roll that was actually decent. Nice relaxed vibe for a quick stop in town centre.

Decent breakfast spot, good value for the area. Staff were efficient and pleasant. The food was warm and tasty, nothing fancy but hit the spot for a quick business meeting.

The courtyard is a nice spot for lunch, and they're dog-friendly. The Shrimp Po'Boy had juicy prawns and a great slaw.

The soup of the day was a proper leek and potato. You could tell it was fresh, not from a tin. Really hit the spot on a drizzly afternoon. Good for the price around here.

Popped in for a last-minute takeaway and they were so lovely about it. Love that they're dog-friendly too – my pup got a little treat while we waited! 🐶 The staff were really chill.

Full English breakfast was spot on. Bacon was crispy, eggs cooked just right, coffee strong. Staff were friendly.

This place is the cosiest little spot. The lighting is so warm, and the big windows make it feel bright even on a grey day. It’s the kind of cafe you can just sink into a corner with a book and a coffee for hours.

Haven't been in a few years, but the food comes on properly warmed plates now. Nice touch.

Coffee's always smooth and creamy here, exactly how I like it. Came in for a quick cup this morning and it hit the spot. The barista got the temperature just right, not too hot to drink straight away. Simple and reliable.

The coffee was really nice, and I liked the cake selection. The staff were friendly and didn't rush us at all, which made for a relaxed visit. Prices felt fair for this part of town. A comfortable spot for a quiet catch-up.

The outside seating in summer is lovely for getting some work done. Halal chicken sandwich was good too.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The coronation chicken wrap was actually really good, fresh and flavourful. The egg roll was fine. It's just a nice, friendly spot.

The lentil soup was so comforting, just like my mum used to make. The fruit loaf was lovely too. I had a really relaxed lunch here. The staff were very friendly and the chairs were actually comfortable, which you don't always find. A nice, easy spot.

Such a bright, clean spot! Perfect for catching up with a friend over coffee. We ended up staying for ages just chatting. The vibe is really welcoming.
