The Art Nouveau room in Schaerbeek is something else, really. Had the octopus carpaccio and the truffle soufflé—both were solid. Staff were friendly enough.

The atmosphere is relaxed and the beer selection is impressive, making it a typical Belgian restaurant worth visiting.

Stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed a table near the window. The stoemp was solid, exactly what I needed on a chilly day. Portions are generous for what you pay, no complaints there. It did get a bit busy and service slowed down, but the vibe stayed relaxed. Good beer list too. Would sit by the window again.

Came here with a big group of 16 and honestly, everyone got their food at the same time. That never happens. The young couple running it are super friendly too.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Pizza had a solid char from the wood-fired oven, crust was chewy enough. No complaints there. Place itself is casual, nothing fancy. Service was efficient, got my order without much waiting. Fine if you're in the area and need something decent without the fuss.

The garden seating really makes it in summer. Wine list is solid, prices fair for what you get. Good spot for a proper but relaxed dinner.

The weekday lunch menu is honestly a steal for what you get. Had the French-Belgian classics and they were properly executed. Room's bright and calm too. Book ahead though, it fills up fast with regulars.

The outdoor seating is really charming, quiet enough to actually enjoy the meal. Fried fish starter was great, sea bass cooked well too. Nice little neighborhood spot.

Stopped by for lunch, grabbed the mussels. Pretty solid, classic brasserie vibe. Terrace was nice, not too crowded. Menu's huge, maybe too huge, but the seafood part seems like the safe bet. Service was quick enough. Fine for a casual bite if you're in the area. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Stopped by for a quick bite and the people working there were genuinely friendly. Food came out fresh, no complaints. Place is small but that’s part of the charm. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Place is small but comfortable. Had the mushroom dishes—fresh, cooked properly, though nothing inventive about the preparation. Staff were friendly and handled English without issue, which made ordering easy. Fine for a quick meal if you're in the area.

The beef tenderloin was pretty good—cooked just right, nice flavor. Staff were fine, not overly chatty. Place had a decent vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Maybe a bit warm inside, but that’s minor. I’d order the same thing again if I’m in the area.

The dinner was good, also for our kids who can be choosy. It was great to eat outside in the walking street. The staff was very supportive during the order, given that the menu was in dutch.

Fun American-themed spot with train booths and staff in costume. We grabbed burgers and the vibe was super playful. Service was friendly, though it got a bit loud later. Fine for a casual bite.

Came for the live music, stayed way longer than planned. The crowd was super cheerful and the whole place had this easygoing energy. Drinks were fine, nothing crazy, but the vibe made up for it. Fun spot for a casual night out if you're in the area.

The set menu was beautifully plated, every dish looked like a small piece of art. The bistro itself is warm and cozy, the kind of place where you can linger a bit longer. Service was attentive without hovering. Only tiny thing, the pacing felt slightly rushed between courses. But honestly, a solid choice for a nicer dinner out.

Been coming here for a while now, and the meter-long nacho platter still gets me every time. It’s just a solid sharing dish, loaded enough for two people. Staff’s always on top of things too, never had to wave anyone down. Not the cheapest spot, but you get what you pay for.

Lovely spot to sit with a coffee and waffle, watching the boats pass by. Staff were friendly, no rush at all.

The terrace is such a nice spot for a relaxed meal. Mussels were spot on, and the service was friendly. Perfect for a sunny afternoon with seafood.

We showed up with 25 people, no reservation, and they just handled it. No drama. Got the dietary stuff sorted without making us feel like a hassle. Food was solid, came out hot. Been here a few times now, and it stays consistent. That's mainly why I keep coming back.

Stumbled into this place looking for a quick pint and ended up staying way longer than planned. The beer list is solid, lots of local stuff on tap. Interior is full of random antiques, feels like drinking in someone's eccentric grandpa's attic. Cozy in a weird way. Only downside, it got pretty crowded later and hard to find a seat.

The boulet à la liégeoise was solid, that sweet-savory sauce really does it. Hazelnut crème brûlée on the side, good call. Staff looked like they actually liked being there, which is always nice to see. Place was pretty busy but the vibe was fine. Maybe a bit loud by the end, but whatever.

Went for dinner last week and grabbed a seat near the open kitchen. Watching the two chefs work their station is genuinely entertaining—everything’s made to order, no shortcuts. Natural wine list pairs nicely with the menu, though I’d say the pour is a bit on the smaller side. Still, it’s the kind of place you settle into for the evening. Casual, unpretentious, and the food holds up its end.

Pina colada was solid, maybe the best I’ve found in Brussels so far. Staff were chill, place had a good buzz. Probably come back at some point.

The menu’s a bit pricey, but they run discounts often enough. Free appetizers get old after a while, but the mains and the wine list are solid. I usually stick to what I know here, and it hasn’t let me down. Good spot for a relaxed dinner without fuss.

The surprise menu kept things interesting, and they even brought out the meat to show before cooking. Felt properly Italian inside.

Sushi boat for two was generous, and the sake pairing worked nicely. Cozy spot, though it gets busy.

Smoked duck and ribs were solid. Staff took time to explain the menu in English, which helped. Portions are big, come hungry.

The cod with mashed potatoes and cheese was spot on, really well cooked. Fish croquettes were decent too. Tripel Karmeliet on the side made it better.
