The hot chocolate spill was a bit of a mess, but the way the staff handled it was really nice. They were so quick to help clean, and offering a new one was a thoughtful touch. It made a stressful moment much easier.

Stopped by for lunch on a sunny Saturday. Sat outside and just watched the street go by for a while. Pretty chill spot for a casual weekend vibe.

The portobello sandwich was solid, and their house red paired nicely with it. A good spot for a casual lunch by the fire.

I stopped by for a quick lunch with a friend. The Chile Verde Wrap was so fresh, and those croissant sandwiches are seriously stuffed! Perfect spot to catch up over something tasty.

Stopped in to get out of the rain. The tofu scramble was the real deal - fluffy, well-seasoned, and the portion was generous. Staff was nice despite the lunch rush. Prices felt fair for Carmel.

Charcoal latte was interesting, nutty and not too sweet. Strawberry shortcake was fine, soft but nothing special. Staff was polite. Place is quiet, good for a quick coffee meeting. Prices are reasonable for the area.

The back terrace is such a nice spot to work. Had the breakfast gnocchi and a mint iced latte. The gnocchi portion was pretty generous for the price, which I always appreciate. A quiet morning with the waterfall sound.

The burnt almond cake is a standout. Moist, with a nice crunch from the almonds. Their red velvet latte is a fun twist. Monday morning was the perfect quiet time to enjoy it all.

Been coming here for years, and the outdoor space is why. It’s huge, feels open even when it’s busy. Perfect for a long breakfast or just working on the laptop. The one bathroom situation is a bit of a hassle sometimes, but I keep coming back for that patio.

The almond croissant here is my go-to. Flaky, buttery, and always warm. Paired with their latte, it's the perfect little pick-me-up. I stop by whenever I need a quick, reliable treat.

Love the patio here. It's tucked away just enough to feel cozy, but you still get that perfect view of the street. Spent a whole afternoon with my latte, just watching the world go by in Japantown. Exactly the kind of low-key spot I needed.

The upstairs brewery and coffee bar has a great vibe. I really appreciate their solid selection of microbrews and good appetizers.

Been coming here for years, and that rose latte is still my go-to. It's got just the right hint of floral, never too strong. A bit tricky to spot from the street, but that's part of the charm.

Drove from San Jose just for the cinnamon rolls. They're the real deal! Service kept our coffee coming, which was perfect for catching up with friends.

My go-to for a quick breakfast. The food is always solid, and I'm in and out fast. Perfect for a short lunch break.

Love the vibe here. It's clean and bright, the booths are actually comfy. The donut holes with creme are a solid choice, not too sweet. Staff was nice.

The vegan scrambled tofu here is so good! A huge mug of hot chocolate to go with it was perfect.

Staff is friendly and quick, food came out fast. It's a local favorite so it does get packed and loud at dinner time. Service didn't really slip though, which was nice.

Had my birthday party here. The owners were super nice and let us use their separate party space. It's a fun, retro spot that worked out well for our group.

The chicken fried steak with hollandaise was huge, definitely enough for two. Good spot for a big breakfast.

Been coming here for years. The menu’s always simple—just a few syrups and milks, nothing fancy. That’s what I like. It’s the same good coffee every time, no surprises. A solid spot.

The patio is dog-friendly and the location is close to hiking trails, which is a nice plus. Parking across the street was easy.

Good spot for working. The quiche was tasty and the coffee was solid. Seats were comfortable too.

Really appreciate the attention to dietary needs here. They have a dedicated prep area for gluten-free items, which is a nice touch. The food was pretty good. A solid spot for anyone with Celiac.

The pastries here are beautiful, like little works of art. I had the chocolate tart with its three layers, and the flavor was just right—not too sweet. It was a lovely, quiet spot for a little treat.

Love the outdoor area here. It's a nice little spot to grab a sandwich and a coffee when the weather's good. The patio has a really relaxed vibe.
