The avocado egg toast here is my go-to. It’s always solid—creamy avocado, perfectly runny eggs, and the bread has a nice crunch. Coffee’s good too. Just a chill spot for a quick morning bite.

The beef stew noodles are really good. The meat is so tender, and they give you a very generous portion. I also appreciated how comfortable the seating was - it made for a relaxed, unhurried meal.

Their oatmilk is so good! It's the only place I'll get my iced latte now. Makes it extra creamy and not too sweet. Perfect for catching up with friends.

Service was attentive and friendly when we stopped by during a quiet afternoon. Had the whole place mostly to ourselves, which was nice. The staff checked in just the right amount without hovering.

Nice, relaxed spot with lots of tables. The menu is huge, covering burgers and even Mexican food. I tried the vegan sushi rolls—they were pretty good, honestly some of the best I've had. A solid choice.

Sabrina was super attentive. The grilled cheese and ham on sourdough was delicious, and the steak fries were perfect. It's a cozy spot with big windows, felt nice and relaxed.

Loved the second-floor patio. Great spot to watch the game with friends, and the view of Hermosa Beach is really nice. It did get a bit crowded, but that's part of the vibe. Perfect for a casual hangout.

This Hawaiian-influenced breakfast place offers some items you can’t always find on your average Mainland breakfast menu, including omelettes with Portuguese sausage and Spam. Closes a bit earlier than I’d expect (last call for food on Sunday is 1:30pm), but otherwise a good option for weekend brunchers.Note that AmEx and Discover cards are not accepted here; only cash and chip-based Visa/Mastercards accepted.Worth a visit and within easy walking distance of the LATTC/Ortho Institute Metro station as well as a Silver Line stop. (There’s a rear entrance to the restaurant that makes Metro access extra easy.)

Their galette des rois is the best I've had stateside! The rest of the food is solid, though the flan wasn't for me. Perfect spot for a casual catch-up with friends.

Donuts are top notch. Grabbed a few for a quick bite and they were all solid. Staff was friendly, we chatted about the flavors. No frills, just really good donuts.

This place is right by campus, super convenient for grabbing a bite between classes. The staff is always friendly and gets your order out fast. Perfect spot to meet up with friends when you're short on time.

Been coming here for years, and the fruit tart is still my go-to. It's just the right balance of sweet and tart, and the crust is always crisp. That little extra touch from the staff when you're picking desserts? It's why I keep coming back.

Trendy spot, classic diner feel. Food is consistently good and fresh. Service is fast and friendly. I just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

Been coming here for years, and it’s the consistency that keeps me coming back. The service is always quick and no-nonsense, even when the line stretches outside. You know exactly what you’re getting.

The combo plate's a solid choice. Steak, kufta, chicken, all decent. That hummus with almonds and steak on top? Really good.

Service was really attentive. They checked in often and the call button was handy when we needed something. Made the meal feel relaxed.

They kindly accommodated my request for an earlier pickup. The raspberry lemon mousse cake was delicious—not too sweet, just the right amount of tart.

The coffee here is really nice and smooth. I grabbed a latte and spent a good hour just chilling on their patio with a book. It's a solid, cozy spot to unwind.

The coffee here is pretty good. I stopped by for a quick break and the atmosphere was relaxing, modern. Staff were friendly and efficient. It's a decent spot to unwind. The only thing is, it can get a bit crowded on weekends.

Came for dim sum and the red rice crispy shrimp paste roll was the standout. Perfectly crunchy outside, shrimp filling was fresh. Tea charge is standard.

This place is tiny, but I love grabbing a steamed bun to go. It's just the right size for a quick bite. The space is simple, no fuss.

Got the fried pork and kimchi dumplings. Really good. For two people, the whole thing came out to about $40. Pretty solid for LA.

Been coming here for years. Lunch rush? No problem, my chicken club with bacon was ready in five minutes. It's a solid spot when you need something quick and good. Menu's got plenty to choose from.

The pastries were really good, and the coffee is solid. It's a nice spot for a quiet breakfast. Prices are a bit high, but you're paying for the quality and the pleasant atmosphere.

The crab meat with fish maw soup was my favorite. You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients, and the broth was so clean. A very comforting dish for a light meal. The xiao long bao were good too.

Decent buffet for the price. The Mongolian BBQ was my favorite part, you pick the ingredients and they cook it right there. Portions are generous at that station.
