Lovely meal, the food was fresh and tasty. Portions are generous too. The service was great, really made us feel welcome.

The sticky toffee pudding was the highlight for me. So warm and comforting, especially on a chilly evening. The whole meal felt like a good deal for the quality.

They were really careful with my nut allergy. The chef came out to double-check, and the waitress kept an eye on things. Felt safe, which is a big deal for me.

A lovely, bustling little bakery. The staff are always so friendly and efficient, which really makes a difference when it's busy. I just love the warm, welcoming vibe in there. The almond croissants are my absolute favourite.

Been coming here for years. Their eggs benedict with tattie scone and black pudding is the real deal, always cooked just right. Coffee's strong and good. A solid local breakfast spot.

Steak pie was spot on. Rich, flavourful, and piping hot. Just what you need for a quick, filling lunch. Got me in and out in under 30 mins. Perfect for a midweek bite.

The open kitchen is mesmerising. Watching the chef meticulously plate each dish felt like a private show. The food itself was stunning, almost too pretty to eat. A lovely, quiet moment in the middle of the city.

The menu tells a story about their local fishermen, which is a nice touch. It makes the place feel more personal.

Been coming here for years, and the portions are still massive. Ordered the usual steak last night, and as always, it came out huge and steaming hot. Could barely finish it. That's what keeps me coming back.

Had a pre-theatre dinner with a big group. Staff handled it all so well. Really attentive service, made the whole thing smooth.

Been coming here for years on my way through. The full Scottish breakfast is always spot on - proper black pudding, eggs just right. That’s what keeps me coming back. It’s a reliable stop.

Stumbled on this place after getting off the ferry. The coffee was spot on and the cakes were so good! What really made it for me was how friendly the staff were to my dog – she got a little fuss and a water bowl. Perfect for a casual catch-up with friends.

Been coming here for years, and their gingerbread is always spot on. It's the one thing I can count on, never dry or too sweet. Just a solid, reliable treat every single time.

Been coming here for years. That first-floor window seat over the water at sunset is still the best spot in town.

The garlic and chili prawns were pretty good, fresh and succulent. The haddock and chips were decent too. It's a fine spot for a casual meal.

The local mussels were small but packed a punch. The bread they serve alongside is perfect for mopping up the broth. They were kind enough to bring more bread without a fuss. A nice glass of crisp white wine would have been the ideal pairing here.

Really enjoyed the Cullen skink gnocchi with black pudding. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. It's a nice spot for a relaxed meal, and being dog-friendly is a plus. The view from the window was a nice touch.

Been here a few times now. They always start you off right with a proper welcome, and the coffee at the end is a nice touch. It's a bit different from the usual places around here.
