Came here with a couple of friends last week and honestly the homemade bread with garlic butter was the highlight for me 😅 we kept asking for more. Pasta was pretty solid too, even though I’m not usually a pasta person. Place looks really nice inside, good for hanging out. Just a heads up, it got a bit loud later in the evening.

The migas with pork was solid and the portion was big enough to skip lunch the next day. Price felt fair for what you get. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

The food and ambiance were fantastic. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the wines and the food they were serving. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back there again!

The staff were lovely and the place feels cozy. Had the Alentejo pork—so flavorful, honestly the best I've tried. Chocolate mousse was a nice finish too.

The codfish cakes were the real deal. Crispy outside, soft and salty inside. Also had the stewed tongue, super tender, fell apart with the fork. Didn't care much about the place itself, but the food did the talking. Prices fair for what you get. Would eat those cakes again.

The black Iberian pork was pretty good — tender and well-seasoned. Portions are decent too.

The bifana here is spot on - thin pork slices in fresh bread, properly seasoned. Simple and honest. Just the way it should be.

Decent spot, pretty spacious inside. We shared a few dishes and everything was fine. Nothing blew me away, but it was a solid meal. Service was okay, not rushed. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger.

The bifanas here are legit. Two sandwiches plus coffee and a pastry, price was fair. Nothing fancy, just solid food.

The outdoor patio is what got me—shaded and quiet, perfect for a slow lunch. I ordered the cheese platter and the boar dish, both were fresh and well-prepared. Portions felt a bit small for the price, but I left satisfied. Service was friendly, just a little slow when it got busy. I'd come back for the atmosphere alone.

Womderful menu that everyone in our family enjoyed (even the young kids). Waitress was great and brought over number wines for us to try.

The grilled meats here are the real deal. Had the migas with pork and it was the highlight of the meal. Sangria was cheap and did the job. Only letdown was the chocolate mousse, way too sweet for my taste. Casual spot, feels like a local hangout.

The pizza here is solid, crust has that nice chew to it. Pasta was cooked right too. Staff knew their wine list, helped me pick something that actually paired well. Sat outside on the terrace, weather was perfect for it. Only thing, it did get a bit busy later and service slowed down some. Still, a good spot for a casual dinner.

The food is outstanding and the service very warm, the wines that they serve and recommend through their very friendly sommelier, Joaõ, are delicious and cost worthy by dar.

Stopped by for lunch and tried the rabbit and fresh cheese. Vasco runs the place like his own living room, very welcoming. Food was solid, nothing fancy but honest. The cheese was the highlight for me. Place gets busy around noon, so don't expect quick service. Still, a decent spot if you're in Evora.

The restaurant is in a hood location, and the food is great and reasonably priced for the area. athe waiter we had twice had a great playful personality that we enjoyed. I recommend this restaurant highly.

Stopped by around 2pm for a late lunch. Place wasn't busy, got a table right away. Had the grilled fish and a glass of white wine they suggested. Fish was fresh, cooked right. Wine pairing was spot on. Not fancy, but honest food. Tourists usually walk past this spot, which is their loss. I'll be back.

The cod à Zé do Pipo was really good, and the portions are generous. The dining room is lively, maybe a bit noisy, but the service was friendly and made it easy to relax.

The açorda here tasted like my grandmother’s cooking, honestly. Portions are generous for the price too. Just wish they had more local wine options by the glass.

The bifanas here are seriously good. Bread was light and crispy, sauce had a nice kick. Probably the best I've had in a while.

Solid spot for Alentejo classics. The wine list really stands out—staff knew their stuff when pairing. Just watch the bill, it adds up quicker than you'd think.

The black pork with migas was the real deal — exactly what I wanted from Alentejo. Wine pairing suggestion was spot on too. Place is tiny though, so definitely book before going.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Place is small, maybe six tables. Got the grouper stew — solid choice. Took a bit to come out but worth the wait. Service was on point, checked on me twice. Homey vibe, not fancy. Good spot if you're in the area and want something simple.

Cute hidden spot in Évora — ring the bell and it opens up to this cool mix of old and new. Great for a chill catch-up with friends.

Big portions, fair price. Had the cod à brás, plenty for two honestly. Flavors were clean, not heavy. Quick service too, which I appreciated. Place was busy but I got my food fast. Solid spot for a no-fuss lunch.

Came on a local's tip. Black pork secreto was the standout — proper flavor. Service drags when it's packed, so don't be in a rush. Solid spot overall.

The owner was so welcoming and the roast lamb came out perfectly cooked. Really happy we stopped here in Vila Viçosa!

The pork face dish really stood out — simple, honest cooking, proper Portuguese flavors. Prices fair for what you get.

The plumas were cooked just right, really tender. Had the house red from Borba with the cheese starter and it worked well together. Portions felt fair for what you pay. Place was busy but we got a table without waiting too long. Staff left us alone until we needed them, which I appreciated. Solid spot for traditional food.
