The grilled octopus was spot on, tender and smoky. Prices are fair for what you get, especially in this area. Service was quick, maybe a bit too quick, felt a little rushed. But honestly, for the quality, I can't complain. Just go with time to spare.

Nice wine list and the staff actually knew how to pair things properly. Had a glass with my meal that worked really well. Place has a good relaxed feel to it. Maybe a touch pricey but fine for what you get.

The dishes were excellently prepared and very flavorful, showcasing the chef's skill.

Food was decent, flavors came through well. But man, the wait killed us—over an hour for our order. Staff were nice about it though. If you're in no rush and want something cooked fresh, it works. Just don't show up starving.

The Portuguese stew here is really something else. Broth was rich, meat came apart easily. Hit the spot on a cooler evening. Place felt very local, not touristy at all. Service was friendly enough, and I didn't feel rushed. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but honestly the food made up for it.

This restaurant is a hidden gem within a hotel, offering unpretentious yet excellent regional dishes made with fresh ingredients. The knowledgeable staff enhances the overall experience.

Took me a minute to find the place, but the black pork made it worth it. Juicy and tender, exactly what I wanted. It gets busy, so you'll be waiting a bit, but that's fine. Just don't come here if you're in a rush.

Stopped by for lunch while in Évora. Staff swapped my son’s meat for an extra egg without fuss, even knocked a bit off the bill. Food was solid for the price.

Got a table even though the market was packed on Saturday. Staff were really welcoming. Food is classic Alentejo, nothing fancy but done right. Prices looked steep at first, then the portions arrived—we ordered for two and it could've fed three or four easily. Just wish they'd dim the lights a bit, felt a little bright for a relaxed lunch.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered the tomato soup with cured meats. Hit the spot. Pork liver with coriander was solid too. Place is small and family-run, feels genuine. Service was fast enough for me. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger. Still, good spot for a no-fuss meal.

The pork tenderloin was really good — generous portion and cooked just right. My kids loved the soup, which is always a win. Staff were friendly too. Only thing is the place got a bit busy around lunchtime, but that didn't take away from the meal. Fresh ingredients for sure.

Grabbed a pizza to go the other night and honestly, the speed was impressive. Got it home and it was still properly hot, which rarely happens. Had a nice bottle of red with it, worked a treat. Just wish they'd thrown in a bit more of that chilli oil, but that's me being picky. Solid option.

This little gem may be off the beaten track, but well worth visiting. The pork cheeks with “migas” were tender and delicious and the red wine recommended by the waiter matched it perfectly. The prices were very affordable, too.

Small terrace out front, really charming spot. Breakfast was solid, staff made us feel welcome. Nothing fancy but does the job for a lazy morning. ☕

The grilled fish was spot on, really tasted homemade. Portions are generous, perfect for sharing with the table. 🌿

Went for Sunday dinner and finally tried those tanguinhas everyone talks about — really good, crispy and salty just right. Ended with enxarcada, which was sweet but not too heavy. Staff were friendly, made us feel comfortable. Place was a bit busy but we didn't mind. Solid spot if you're in the area.

Stopped in before catching a train—the calm vibe was exactly what I needed. Service was quick too, which helped with the rush.

The 'Miminhos a Badica' was really good, fresh and well-seasoned. Homemade dessert hit the spot too. Portions felt a bit small for the price, but I'd still come back.

I'm happy that I celebrated my birthday in this restaurant. The staff are amazing and the food were great. I ordered the Bocechas de Porco Preto and my partner ordered the Lombinho de Porco Preto. We enjoyed our meal and because it was my birthday, I have the right of Liquor which is very good. I highly recommended this restaurant and for sure that we will be back soon.

I went with my family and we loved it. The food was really good, the service kind and even with a full house we were served quickly and with special attention. We will for sure come back.
