Cosy spot with the open fire going - perfect for a cold evening. Staff were really friendly, and they let us bring our dog in too. Just the kind of place you want to settle into for a few hours.

Jamie&#39;s D&amp;D nights are a solid idea. It definitely brings in a different crowd. He&#39;s always on the floor, checking on tables and helping out. The vibe is fun, though it can get a bit loud when the dice start rolling!

All the meat was tender and moist and the roast potatoes in beef fat were the best ever. In fact all the vegetables were lovely. we agreed that on our next visit to Southend we would take my daughter, her husband and our Grandson for a treat. The atmosphere was cosy and the staff were all friendly and helpful.In particular our waitress Mandy was really friendly and funny. It really made a difference to our visit. we will recommend and be back next time we are in the area.
