Great spot for a quick breakfast with friends before a trip. Opens super early and parking was easy.

Don't let the plain front fool you. The food here is solid. We've been back a few times now. The lamb shank last night was fall-off-the-bone tender, really well done. A reliable choice.

Visiting the area and gave this spot a shot. Got a takeout pizza, ready in 10 minutes. Honestly, for the price, it was the best takeout slice I've had in ages. A proper hidden gem.

Stopped by for a quick bite before my train. The sausage roll was proper tasty and filling. Carrot cake was decent too. For a station spot, the prices are fair, you get a good portion for what you pay. No complaints on that front.

Friendly staff, they really make you feel welcome. The cafe itself is spotless, which is nice. Had a decent coffee and a slice of cake, nothing fancy but a solid spot for a quick stop.

The staff are so kind and attentive. When my friend had a small accident, they were incredibly helpful and even brought a proper first aid kit. It made a potentially stressful situation much easier. Really appreciated their care.

Got the usual sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. Portions are huge, easily enough for two meals. The rice was a bit greasy this time, but still decent value for the price.

The steak was cooked just right, juicy and flavourful. The chips were proper thick-cut ones, which I always appreciate. Service was spot-on, attentive without being overbearing. A solid meal.

Loved the vibe here, right by the beach. The paella was loaded with chorizo and prawns, really hit the spot. But those scallops to start… wow. Perfectly seared, so tender. Honestly, that starter alone is worth coming back for.

The English breakfast was solid. Bacon crisp, sausage had a nice snap, eggs just runny enough. The black pudding was a bit dry though, but the grilled tomato and mushrooms were spot on. Decent portion for the price.

Been coming here for years, and the Tuesday deal is still the one I plan my week around. It's not just the price, it's that you can count on the same generous portions and those perfectly crispy chips every single time. Honestly, keeps me coming back.

Quick and friendly service. They chat while making your order, which is nice. Shop is spotless.

The staff were so kind when we had a small hiccup. They handled it with such grace, it really put us at ease. Just a lovely, attentive team.

The lamb shank was spot on, tender and falling off the bone. The red wine jus was rich, not too sweet. That's what I come here for. They did return my gloves, which was decent of them.

Been coming here for their tea and hot chocolate for ages - super cheap. The orange juice and vanilla milkshakes are solid too. Perfect for a casual catch-up.

Been coming here for years whenever I'm in town. Had the full English breakfast this morning - proper sausages, eggs done just right. Popped back in the afternoon for a pint. Staff are always dead sound.

The toffee pudding was the highlight for me. It's the kind of dessert you think about later. We did have to wait a bit for it, but that warm, sticky sweetness was worth the pause. Everything else was fine, but that pudding is the reason I'd go back.

A halal chippy with veggie options, which is nice. Shame they'd run out of the battered halloumi, but the menu still had plenty to choose from.

Service was really quick and friendly. They even offered to drop our order off at the hotel, which was a nice touch. Made things so easy after a long day.

The birthday discount was a nice touch, they applied it without us even asking. The main dining room has a really lovely, relaxed feel to it, with those big windows letting in all the light. It made for a very pleasant lunch.

A decent spot for Chinese food. The spicy salted squid is really good, crisp and flavourful. The fried rice is a reliable choice too. The place was a bit loud on a Friday evening, but the food came out quickly.

Tofu in black bean sauce was flavourful and the veg spring rolls tasted fresh. Portions were decent for the price, which is always a plus. I left feeling satisfied without feeling like I'd overpaid.

The Aloo Bara was lovely. Their lamb dishes are particularly good, they really know how to handle their spices. A solid spot for a decent meal.

The fish and chips were the best I've had in ages. The batter was super crispy and light, not greasy at all. The chips were proper thick-cut and fluffy inside. Just a really solid plate of food.

Popped in for a quick bite after a walk. The fish tacos were made fresh to order, which you don't always get. Nice spot being so close to the beach too.

Lovely spot by the water. The light in the evening was just right, soft and golden. It felt calm. A bit pricey for the portion, but that view... it was nice.

The rib eye was spot on, and the seafood linguini had a lovely bite to it. The pizza was a nice surprise. What really made the evening was the wine list – a solid selection of reds that paired beautifully with the steak. A good find in the neighbourhood.

Been coming here for years. The food's always fresh and cooked to order. It's got that proper, authentic taste you don't find much around here. More of a quick, casual bite than a fancy night out, but that's fine by me.

The food was really tasty, and the staff were so friendly. It was nice to find a cosy spot to sit and relax after a long walk.
