Been coming here for years. The staff always remembers us and handles any little hiccup so smoothly. That's why we keep coming back.

Great spot for a casual catch-up! Staff were super friendly and kept our water topped up all afternoon, which was a lifesaver on such a hot day. Got a table right away, so we could just dive into our chat. 😊

This place is popular for a reason! The ramen is flavorful without being overly salty, and the variety of toppings enhances the overall experience.

No. 7 of Local Restaurants in Kumamoto City

The meat quality was solid for the price point. Portions are generous, which is a nice surprise these days. My steak was cooked just right.

Nice spot for a quick bite. Got the chicken katsu curry. Food came out fast, which is key for my lunch break. Place looks cool, kinda dark and cozy. Good for when you need to eat and get out.

Been coming here for years. They always have a good selection of sushi and small plates. It's that consistency I keep coming back for. Never feels like they're cutting corners.

Came here for a quick lunch. The space is really open and bright, with lots of natural light from the big windows. It just feels calm and uncluttered, which was nice for a solo meal. The sushi and noodle options are pretty extensive.

The lunch set is a solid deal. The meat quality is good and the rice and kimchi refills are unlimited.

I appreciate the courteous service and the beautiful private room with a garden view, perfect for a relaxing meal.

Loved that they do smaller plates! Perfect for sharing with friends. We got the double-cooked pork to start, and the cabbage it came with was so fresh. Made it easy to order a bunch more things to try.

The chestnut pizza is a decent dessert, but the portion is a bit small for the price.

Visited on a rainy day, which was perfect for their cozy tatami hall. The warm, nostalgic vibe was so nice. We had a big group and it was comfortable. The miso soup was particularly good, really hit the spot.

The English menu is a bit limited. I ended up using my phone to translate the Japanese one to see all the options. It worked fine, but having a complete English menu would make things easier for visitors.

The triple-delight eel rice bowl is pretty good. I liked trying it three ways, especially the ochazuke at the end.

The unagi was so plump and grilled over charcoal. The sauce wasn't too sweet, just right with the rice. A really nice surprise for my first time trying it here.

Been coming here for years. That beef rice bowl never disappoints, always the same comforting mix of flavors. It's the one thing I know I can count on.

We managed to snag a private room for two. It was just us, quiet and relaxed. The seared scallop starter was nicely done, though the main course came out a bit slower than expected. Still, a good spot for a focused lunch.

The recent renovation gave it a clean, airport lounge vibe. The drink bar is now a highlight - good selection of teas and mixable sodas. A solid spot for a quick business meeting.

A shame they're not open year-round. The lunch deal with the salad and drink bar is pretty good.

The squid ink stew was the standout. Deep, savory flavor, tender seafood. The green pasta had a nice bite, and the steak was cooked just right. A solid lunch course focused on taste.

Nice spot for a quiet meal alone. The modern decor is clean and comfortable. Had the grilled salmon set - the fish was cooked fine, a decent portion. Service was polite but a bit slow. Would go back.

The view of Lake Kinrin from the window seat was so lovely. Just watching the water while having my matcha parfait made the whole afternoon really peaceful.

The chicken teppanyaki set was my first time trying it. The chicken was really juicy and cooked right in front of you, which was cool. A good way to try something local.

A chill L-shaped sushi counter run by a nice older chef. Fish was fresh, prices were fair. Just dropped in for a bite.
