The staff were really nice. My Japanese isn't great, but they took the time to explain the menu. They pointed out the Baumkuchen, which was good to know since it's made with local stuff. Very patient service.

Hidden gem in the woods. No mains, just small plates. Had the grilled mushrooms and a local cheese plate. Simple but tasty. The vibe is super relaxed, just trees and quiet. A bit pricey for the portions though.

The sakura shrimp tempura was really good. Fresh shrimp, and the batter was super light and crispy. Went great with the cold soba. Just a nice, simple lunch.

The owner is such a sweet lady, and she runs this lovely old-school diner all by herself. It feels very cozy and familiar, like stepping back in time. I did notice the service can be a little slow when it's busy, but she's always so kind and attentive. A very comfortable spot.

Been coming here for years. The lunch set is always solid, and the dessert never disappoints. That little sweet finish keeps me coming back.

Found this little izakaya that does lunch curry! Tried their chicken katsu curry set. The curry sauce had a nice depth, not too sweet. The katsu was perfectly crispy. Parking right outside was a plus.

The tacos were honestly Michelin-level. The al pastor was so tender, and the pineapple had this perfect char. Just a tiny bit pricey for the portion, but the flavor was incredible.

The view of Mount Fuji from my table was just stunning. I tried their Mont Blanc for dessert, and honestly, it's the best version I've ever tasted. The texture was incredible.

The hoto noodles were a real find. The broth had a nice depth to it, not just salty. And those thick, chewy noodles? Exactly what I was hoping for on a chilly day.

Morning soak in the outdoor bath with Mt. Fuji right there. The water was perfect, and that view... just a great way to start the day.

The shigure-yaki was packed with good stuff! Really liked the texture from the pressed cooking.

Been here a few times. The English drink menu helps. Some food menus have pictures, which is handy. The grilled chicken skewers are solid, not too salty. It’s a good spot for a casual beer after work.

Came here with my friends and we were all so entertained by the robot servers! It brought our ramen right to the table. Food came out super fast, which was perfect because we were all starving after shopping. The gyoza was really tasty too.

Menu's huge, lots of stuff from Izu. Tried the Izu beef menchi-katsu. It was really juicy, good flavor. That was my pick for the day.

The in-house bread is really good. Clubhouse and pork cutlet sandwiches are huge, you could share one but you won't want to.

Stopped by for a quick bite. The pizza was really good - crispy crust and toppings that weren't too heavy. Simple and tasty.

Cash only, but they have parking. The sweetfish was a nice taste of the local cuisine.

Ordering on the tablet was very efficient, even when the place was packed. The self-checkout saved a lot of time.

Been here a few times across the year. The spring menu had these cherry blossom items—really delicate, almost too pretty to eat. A nice little nod to the season.

The mini tempura donburi and soba set is such a good deal! The shrimp were huge and the batter was perfectly crispy. It's a nice, light lunch to share with a friend before shopping.

The lunch set with the wakasagi was my pick. It's so crispy outside, and the fish inside is really tender. A nice find for a casual lunch.

The homemade ice cream and sorbet were a lovely finish. I especially enjoyed the persimmon flavor—it was so refreshing. The servers were very attentive about clearing plates between courses, which made the whole meal feel relaxed and unhurried.

This charming pastry shop offers beautifully crafted cakes and a stylish ambiance. The macarons were surprisingly delicious, and the terrace seating provides a fantastic view.

I really liked the raised seating area here! It was perfect for my little one, who could see everything without a booster seat. The whole place felt cozy and welcoming, like being at a friend's house.

The Onari-dori location is much more relaxed. Had a seat inside with my coffee, which was a nice pairing for the crepe.

Cozy log cabin spot. The owner is super nice, chatted with us a bit. Had the grilled fish, simple but really fresh. Just a nice, quiet lunch.

The roast beef sandwich was pretty good and quite filling. You can tell they put care into the food here. A decent spot for a solid lunch.
