The garlic was fried fresh at the table, a huge portion. No weird aftertaste at all. The meat itself was pretty tender, and I liked the dipping sauces they had. Simple but good.

A quick walk from the station, which was perfect. The seats were comfortable and the staff was very kind. I had the grilled fish set, it was simple and tasty. A nice, quiet spot to relax for lunch.

The soba here is clearly made with care. You can taste the difference. The space is just a converted container, but it's warm and the owner is genuinely passionate. A bit cramped, but that's part of the charm.

Right inside Shuzenji Station, super convenient. The ordering system is a bit different, you buy a ticket at the souvenir shop counter. Once you figure it out, it’s actually quite efficient.

A comfortable spot for a work lunch. Appreciated how they handled my shrimp allergy without any fuss.

Took the karaage home. Good portion for the price, still crispy.

The seafood bowl is huge and looks nice. The fish was fresh, though the portion was a bit too much for one person.

The soba was really good, and I loved that you can add fresh wasabi yourself. The shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy. It's a nice spot for a casual lunch with friends.

A nice, clean spot with a calm, traditional feel. I appreciated the pet-friendly seating area—it made bringing my dog along for lunch pretty easy. The food was decent, though the service was a little slow that day.

Came after the lunch rush. Staff were really friendly and helpful, no rush at all. Food came out fast, which was nice. Had the grilled fish, it was cooked just right. Good spot for a relaxed late lunch.

The honey butter cinnamon toast was a nice surprise. Simple, but really tasty. The teriyaki chicken sandwich was good too, a solid choice for lunch.

Loved the tatami floor seating here. It really felt authentic, like stepping into a proper local spot. Staff were super friendly and quick with everything. Made the whole meal feel relaxed and genuine.

The dorayaki dough is firm but soft, just how I like it. I tried the walnut and caramel paste flavor. The filling could be a little sweeter for my taste, but it was still tasty. A comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a quiet treat.

Loved the quiet vibe here, perfect for getting lost in a book. The Americano was smooth, and the little Italian pastry I tried was lovely. Just a really peaceful spot to spend an afternoon.

I love the idea of taking your shoes off at the entrance. Makes it feel so cozy and relaxed.

Been coming here for years. The curry ramen is my go-to when I want a change from the usual. Always hits the spot, never too heavy. That's why I keep coming back.

This teppanyaki restaurant is conveniently located near the highway, making it easy to access. The quality of the food and the attentive service make it worth a visit.

I always try a different sake here. Their list is long and interesting. The umeshu is lovely too, a sweet little treat.

I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Gotemba. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and the fountain show added a magical touch to our dinner.

The maitake mushroom tempura was the highlight. The portion was generous for the price, and the mushrooms were juicy and satisfying. Good value for a tempura dish.
