Busy spot, but the simmered golden snapper was worth the wait. Fish was tender, broth flavorful. Service was efficient despite the crowd. A solid choice for a business dinner.

Shame the terrace was closed, looked like a lovely spot for a warm evening. The staff suggested a nice red to go with the steak, which worked well.

No. 1 of Restaurants for Views & Experiences in Hakone

First time trying whitebait here. It’s a local thing, right? The flavor was light and salty, really different from anything else. A nice little surprise.

Super convenient location, just a minute from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Grabbed a quick matcha soft serve before my train. It's exactly what you need for a fast stop. The price was fair for the area.

I was impressed by the quality of the food at the buffet. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection right in front of us. The dessert selection was also delightful, making it a well-rounded dining experience.

Solid breakfast set and the pork steak was cooked just right. The coffee was a bit weak for my taste, but they have a decent selection of juices. It's a reliable spot for a morning meal.

The Hoshino Spaghetti was my choice. The butter soy sauce was just right, and the soft-boiled egg was perfect. I found the booth seating very comfortable for a quiet lunch.

Friendly staff, always quick. Once they even made a sold-out dish for a regular. That's service. Good for a fast lunch.

The a la carte dinner is surprisingly generous, with portions that can easily serve two to three people. The local Wagyu steaks are a must-try, and the calm atmosphere makes it perfect for a date night.

No. 3 of Light Bites in Hakone

The baguette here is really something else. That crust is so crispy, and the smell when it arrives at the table is just fantastic. It's the kind of simple, well-made bread that makes the whole place feel a bit more special.

Came for the dried spiny lobster, but it was sold out. The staff explained their products very clearly though.

I've been coming here for years. The apple pie is still the best thing on the menu. Crust is perfect, apples are just right. Always save room for it.

Got a ticket from the machine and waited maybe 15 minutes. The bowl was huge, packed with noodles and a good amount of chashu. For the price, you really get a lot of food. No complaints there.

A cool spot with an art collection. Stopped in for a beer after a long trip; the staff were super relaxed and helpful.

Opens at 7:30, great for early risers. Came around 10 on a weekday, nice and quiet. The coffee was a solid start.

Morning soak in the outdoor bath with Mt. Fuji right there. The water was perfect, and that view... just a great way to start the day.
