Stopped at the Izu Kogen roadside station cafe for a break. The free parking lot is huge, which is super convenient when you're on a road trip. Just grabbed a coffee and a light snack. Good spot to recharge.

The tapas platter lets you try a bit of everything. I kept going back for the Spanish omelet. The potatoes inside were nice and chunky, gave it a really solid texture. That was the best part for me.

Solid lunch spot in Hakone. Burger was good, bun stayed crispy. The zenzai dessert was a nice, warm finish. Quick service, got me in and out fast. Perfect for a quick bite between sightseeing.

The cheesecake is really rich and dense, just how I like it. Went well with my black coffee. A bit on the sweet side for me personally, but still a good slice.

The French toast is a must-order! They use four different breads, which is so unique. Perfect for sharing with friends over a slow brunch. The texture was incredible.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. The burgers are definitely a highlight, and the outdoor seating is a great feature, especially on a nice day.

The walk up from the car park is a bit of a climb, but I didn't mind. Once you're there, it's so peaceful. No traffic noise at all, just birdsong. A lovely quiet spot.

The Mont Blanc dessert was a highlight of my visit, beautifully presented and incredibly tasty with the addition of Mishima sweet potatoes.

The apple french toast was tasty, and the patio has a nice ocean view. But honestly, for the price, I expected a bigger portion. The plate felt a bit light for what you pay.

The draft teas are smooth and not bitter at all. For the price, the portion size is quite generous. You get a full pot to share or enjoy by yourself. A nice spot to relax with good tea.

The strawberry milk was really good, lots of real fruit in it. Nice to have the outdoor seating too.

I really appreciate that they allow dogs on the terrace. It's a quiet, car-free area, so it was very peaceful for a relaxed meal. The staff were also very friendly about it.

This branch is much more spacious and tidy than the others I've visited. I really appreciate the separate rooms for smoking and vaping—it makes the whole dining experience so much more comfortable.

Parking was a bit tricky, but the second lot a short walk away saved the day!

The owner clearly loves books, and the quiet mountain vibe is so relaxing. Perfect for catching up with a friend over coffee. We ended up staying for hours just chatting.

I'm from Nagoya and this place felt like home. The teppan napolitan was spot on, just like the ones back there. The coffee shop vibe is authentic too. A bit pricey, but worth it for the nostalgia.

A very cute cafe with swing chairs. I appreciate the use of real Manuka honey in their drinks, you can taste the quality. The coffee was smooth.

Breakfast was fine. The matcha was pretty good, my girlfriend liked it a lot. Bagels were decent too. A solid spot for a morning coffee.

Tried their kombucha workshop on a whim. The drink itself was tasty and felt healthy. Making my own batch was a cool hands-on thing to do.

The red roof is a landmark. The special curry was perfect for a quick lunch. Mild at first, then a nice warmth that lasts. Got my order in under 10 minutes. Exactly what I needed on a busy day.
