The Shakh Plov was the reason I came. Local guy told me to get it. Rice was fluffy, the meat tender, and that crust on top... yeah, that's the good part. One of the better rice dishes I've had, honestly. Portion is big though. They don't warn you. I couldn't finish mine. Still, no complaints about the taste.

The outdoor seating under the plane trees in the square is lovely. Sat there for a while just watching people go by. Service was a bit slow but the spot itself made up for it. Nice for a relaxed breakfast if you're not in a hurry.

The croissants and macarons were exactly what you'd expect from Paul's. But that cheese soup in the bread bowl surprised me—bread stayed soft the whole time, didn't turn into a soggy mess. That's not always easy to pull off. I'd go back just for that.

The kunafa with ice cream was a nice way to finish. Liked that it wasn't too sweet, and the ice cream balanced it well.

Stopped by for breakfast on a weekday. Place is small but comfortable. Got the scrambled eggs and meat pancakes — both were solid, real Turkish taste. Not fancy, but you can tell they cook it properly. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Booked a private room here last week. Meat dishes were really good, especially the lamb. Decor is nice too, felt classy but not stuffy. Only thing is the room felt a bit cramped for our group, but service was quick about it. Would come back for the food.

Shisha was solid and the tea hit the spot. Local cafe vibe, staff were friendly enough. Just bring cash, they don't take cards. Quick stop, no complaints.

The cocktails were solid, no complaints there. And the view from the 20th floor is honestly the main reason to come. They did help arrange a small birthday cake for us, which was a nice touch. But the bill at the end felt a bit steep for what we ordered. I get you're paying for the scenery, but still. Maybe just for a drink or two, not a full dinner.

The lamb lule here is seriously good. Better than the tourist spots everyone recommends. Service was quick, got my food fast. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Right on the boulevard, easy walk to Old City. Staff knew the menu well and helped us pick. Room feels more upscale than the price suggests. Solid choice if you're in the area.

Nice spot for a proper dinner in Baku. The lighting inside gave it a calm, classy feel. Food was good, though nothing crazy.

The terrace gets a bit smelly sometimes, which is a shame since the inside is really nice. We sat indoors and it was fine. Food was decent, nothing fancy but solid. Prices felt reasonable for what we got. Would probably come back, just not for the outdoor seating.

Steak was solid, cooked just right. Place has that old-school steakhouse feel. Bit pricey though, and the smoke gets to you.

The lamb was fresh and cooked just right. They have a few good Turkish wines too. Nice spot if you care about quality ingredients.

The lighting in there is really nice, not too bright, not too dark. We sat by the window and the seats were comfy enough to just hang out for a while. Had the Margherita pizza, dough was good, chewy. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Would probably come back if I'm in the area again.

Came here with a group and honestly the staff kept things moving. Drinks showed up fast, no standing around waiting. Food was decent for that kind of place—nothing fancy but it did the job. Got a bit loud later but that’s on us I guess. Solid if you need a spot that won’t drag.

Came for the pilaf and wasn’t let down—buttery, each grain separate, exactly how it should be. Dolma was solid too, good herb balance. Place was busy but not chaotic. Service kept it simple, no hovering. Only thing, they brought the bread late, but whatever. I’d eat here again if I’m in the area.

Came for the HB Munich on tap — that alone was worth it. Got the beer set with sausages, plenty for two people honestly. Place looks nice inside, staff didn’t keep us waiting. Only thing, the DJ was playing some older stuff, not really my vibe. Still, solid stop if you’re around.

The lamb kebab was the only thing I cared about. Meat had that smoky char, juicy inside. Rice was plain but fine. Honestly, the place could be a cave and I wouldnt mind. Just bring me that kebab again. Maybe slightly overpriced for what it is, but the flavor did the talking.

The wine tasting room downstairs is a nice touch. Food was decent but the menu's pretty small. Can't beat the old town spot though.

The beef stroganoff was the standout—really rich and comforting. Place has that old Russian inn vibe, which I liked. Staff were fine, but it got pretty busy, so booking ahead is a must.

The banana raf here is seriously good—creamy, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet. They even dropped a couple of cookies on the house, which I didn’t expect. Nice little touch. I’d come back just for that drink, honestly.

Been coming here for years. Food's always solid, never had a bad meal. Aynur remembers my order now, that says something. Place gets busy on weekends but worth it. Had the lamb shish yesterday, cooked right. Not fancy but honest food. Good for a quick bite when you dont feel like cooking.

Lamb kebabs were solid, juicy and well-seasoned. Place has a nice vibe but the waiter came off a bit rude. Didn't feel like going back and forth with management over anything.

Came here for lunch, got the mixed grill. Portion was solid for the price, not crazy big but enough. Place was pretty quiet around noon, which I liked. Nighttime looks way busier though. Service was fine, nothing special but no complaints. Good spot if you're in the area and want some Lebanese food without the crowd.

Came for the live music, stayed for the food. Place is clean and the staff were friendly. Prices felt fair for what you get.

The cheddar bacon burger here was pretty good—solid pick if you're near Nizami Street and want something easy. I liked that the open kitchen didn't leave the place smelling like grease. Prices felt fair for what you get. Only thing is seating could be a bit more comfortable, but it wasn't a big deal for a quick bite.

The chicken kiev with mashed potatoes was decent. Comforting, well-executed. Staff spoke good English, which made things easier for me as a visitor. Place was a bit quiet for a weekend evening, but fine. I'd say it's a solid choice if you're in the area and want something simple.
