A proper country pub, lovely cosy feel. The pork belly was spot on, and they had a surprisingly good selection of local ales. The Baileys bread and butter pudding was a treat, went nicely with a glass of something sweet.

Good spot for a quick bite. Their fish and chips is solid, comes out fast. Perfect for when you&#39;re in a rush. The place gets busy at lunch but they keep things moving.

A brilliant selection of vegetables  for a vegetarian plus the Yorkshire pudding  made a really tasty meal,  extra wonderful with the onions and sweetcorn.                   The  turkey was delicious for the meat eater.

The staff were really friendly. They even brought us cutlery when our takeaway arrived without any, which was a nice touch.

My daughter is a regular customer at The Angel and she recommended the food here is really good, and the atmosphere was chilled and the service was prompt and attentive. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the experience again soon.

Gammon, egg and chips. Classic pub grub done right. The gammon was thick and not too salty. Chips were proper. That&rsquo;s it really. Solid meal for the price.
