Grabbed a quick ham, egg &amp; chips for lunch. The ham was nicely thick-cut, eggs runny just right. The cafeti&egrave;re of Italian roast coffee went perfectly with it. Simple stuff, but they nailed it.

The gluten-free fish and chips were spot on. They have a dedicated fryer, which is a huge plus. The batter stayed crispy the whole time, never got soggy. Really appreciated the staff&#39;s knowledge when I asked about cross-contamination.

They&#39;ve got a dog menu, which was a nice surprise. Our pup got a little bowl of something, seemed happy with it. Makes it easier to stop in for a quick bite when we&#39;re out walking.

Got a window table last minute on a Friday! The spring rolls and mac and cheese bites were perfect for sharing with friends.

The fish was huge, honestly bigger than my hand. Chips were golden and crisp, just right. A proper portion for the price. It&rsquo;s the kind of simple, satisfying meal you want after a long walk in the Dales.

The curries are packed with flavour and the meat portions are generous. The naan was spot on, warm and fluffy. Rice was good too. Felt like a proper, hearty meal.

The Chinese chicken curry was really tasty. What I appreciated most was how comfortable the seats were, it made the whole meal so much more relaxing. The staff were friendly too.

Visited Durham for a super historical weekend. Didn&rsquo;t dream we would eat in such an amazing restaurant too. The food would grace any Michelin starred table. Great taste and presentation throughout the 7 course tasting menu. (We added another to the 6 😋) wines and service exceptional too.

Good wine list, lots to choose from. We had the set menu and tried a different glass with each course. Pairing worked well, service was knowledgeable on the options. Solid choice if you want to explore some pairings.

Cosy spot with a fun 50s vibe. Menu&#39;s small but everything we tried was spot on. Perfect for a catch-up with mates - we lingered over the mains (from &pound;18) and never felt rushed. Service was just right, friendly but not in your face.

Nice big terrace for summer evenings. Food came out fast, tasted fresh. The aubergine rolls were good, but the feta inside was a bit too salty for me. Still, a solid spot.

The hot shot parmo was spot on, especially the skin-on chunky chips.
