The staff were amazing. Having booked through fork the booking hadn't made it to the restaurant, even though they were absolutely packed they managed to find us a table. The staff were so attentive and couldn't do enough for us even though they were rushed off their feet. Thank you

We arrived for a 12.15 pm lunch in order to beat the busy period. Most customers were outside in the sunshine but we had chosen to eat indoors. The chairs were very comfortable and the ambiance very tasteful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My sister in law and I had the sea bass fillets and my husband had the gammon. Plates were all clean and my husband and I had a dessert. We will be back the next time we visit the area.

This café offers a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. The views from the upper floor are an added bonus!

Popped in for a quick coffee and a sweet treat. That vegan carrot cake was so moist and the cream cheese frosting was spot on. The coconut chocolate bar was a nice find too. Would love to try their outdoor seating when it's warmer.

The gluten-free and dairy-free options are clearly marked on the menu. Makes it so much easier to order when you have to be careful.

Steak and ale pie was decent. But the venison pie... that one really hit the spot. Perfectly seasoned, proper comfort food on a cold day. That's the one to get.

The staff here are just lovely. They even toasted our sandwiches without us asking, which was a really nice touch. It’s that kind of small, thoughtful gesture that makes a difference.

The gluten-free menu here is really well done. Had the French onion soup, which was a nice surprise. Felt relaxed just knowing everything was clearly labelled.

The steak and ale pie is the reason I come here. The pastry is crisp, the filling is rich and the gravy is thick. It's a proper pub classic. The separate dining room is handy if you're in a rush for a show.

Quick table for six despite a booking hiccup. Good service, sorted a food mix-up fast. Perfect for a quick Sunday bite.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Grabbed a pint and a burger, service was fast. Good spot right in the centre. Beer choice is decent, some wines are a bit steep though.

Been coming for years, and that peri peri Vusa sauce is still the star. The vinegar kick just makes everything better.

Food was excellence. Service was quite slow. It was obvious that we would have to wait with only 3 staff dealing the bar, restaurant etc.The number of staff left to cope was not good, but those that were there were very good.I suggest you employ more staff to avoid damaging your very good reputation

Been here a few times now. The pasta is spot on, just like my nonna used to make. Good portions, too. Parking by the water is handy. As a local, it's my go-to for a proper Italian meal.

Been coming here for years for their Sunday roast. The garden's a nice spot when it's sunny. Portion's always big and you never wait long. It's just a solid, reliable meal.

Booked ahead for afternoon tea, which was a good idea as it's a cosy spot. The service was polite and professional, they handled our preferences without any fuss. The scones were decent, though the clotted cream portion felt a bit modest. A pleasant experience overall.

Been coming here for years, and the steaks are always spot on. Medium-rare, just how I like it, every single time. That consistency keeps me coming back. Alex’s recommendations are solid, too.

The French onion soup was rich and piping hot. The gooey cheese over the crusty bread was perfect for a chilly day.

Josh was on it. Three courses for that price, solid deal. Pasta was decent, steak fine. Just a good, easy dinner with mates. No fuss.

Been here a few times now. The food is just consistently good. Simple stuff done right. My go-to spot.

The live band upstairs was a nice touch. The music wasn't too loud, so you could still talk. It started right at 7pm like they said. Good spot to watch the bar area below.

The tapas dishes at Edesia were incredible, with generous portions and great flavors. The decor is beautiful, making it an ideal spot for an intimate dinner or brunch with friends.

Decent brunch spot. The Garden Brunch was tasty, and the tea was just right. Prices are fair for Bath.

The Sunday roast is a proper feed for a group! Massive, thick slices of all three meats. We shared a platter and still had leftovers. The vibe is spot on for a lazy catch-up with friends.

Visited this pub recently and was impressed by the quality of service and the variety of drink options available. A must-visit when in the area!

The meal deal was a nice portion for two. And they were happy to apply the blue light discount, which was appreciated.

The goulash is the best I've had. Rich, deep flavour from the slow-cooked beef and paprika, and the spätzle dumplings were perfect for soaking up the sauce. Nothing else mattered.

Lovely little spot for a weekend catch-up with friends. The vibe is so relaxed and warm, you can easily lose track of time chatting. The avocado toast was spot on. ☕️ A bit of a wait for a table, but that’s the sign of a good place, right?

The sticky toffee pudding was a revelation. The cosy, book-lined room made it even better.

The little outdoor tables are perfect for watching the world go by. Had a delicious breakfast and a really good fruit smoothie there. Just a nice, relaxed spot.
