I have visited The Fox Den three times over the last month or so and on each occasion the food and the service have been fantastic.Special shout out for the pie of the day. I had a steak and ale pie a few weeks ago and my friend enjoyed a turkey and mushroom pie this week - both huge portions and delicious.

Good pre-theatre option near the Hippodrome. The set menu was efficient and the food arrived promptly. Staff handled the rush well. A solid choice if you're on a schedule.

The Turkish sweets and pastries here are all made fresh in-house. I found the baklava particularly lovely, not overly sweet. The staff were very friendly and let me try a few things before I decided. A nice, relaxed spot for a treat.

The afternoon tea was so inventive, and I really appreciated how well they handled my gluten allergy. The room had lovely natural light too.

Sunday lunch here is a proper feed. The portions are huge, and you get a good selection of veg. Service was friendly and on the ball. A bit of a wait for the bill, but that’s a minor thing.

The service here is spot on. Staff were friendly without being overbearing, and they kept our water glasses topped up throughout the meal. It just lets you relax and enjoy your food.

The lunch deal is a steal. Went for the pasta, and the portion was huge for the price. Could barely finish it. Good, simple food.

Quiet lunch, just what I needed. The food arrived steaming hot, which was lovely. Service was prompt, no fuss. Felt like a little escape in the middle of the day.

Lovely atmosphere for a relaxed evening. The lighting was just right, not too dim, and the background music was at a perfect volume for conversation. Really enjoyed the vibe here.

The portion sizes here are generous for the price, which I appreciate. I noticed the salad greens were particularly fresh and crisp. Makes it feel like a good value meal without compromising on ingredient quality.

Had a business lunch here. Billy, our waiter, was on point - quick, knew the menu, and kept things moving without hovering. Exactly the kind of efficient service you need when you're on a schedule. The steak was cooked right, no fuss.

Been coming here for years, and that fireplace is the main reason. It's just the right kind of cozy on a cold night. You can grab a corner table, and it feels like your own little spot for the evening.

Been coming here for years, and the new lamb biryani is a proper win. Just as good as the old favourites. That depth of flavour keeps me coming back.

Staff were lovely, really helpful with the pram. Food came quick and the portions are huge. Had a nice glass of red with the steak, worked well. A solid spot for a family meal.

Missing a naan in our order, but they sent a replacement plus an extra within 10 minutes. That's why I keep coming back.

The Indian lunch set is a solid deal. Had the chicken masala today, flavour was spot on but I'd have liked a touch more heat. Portions are generous for the price.

The steak was spot on, exactly how I like it. Even though the place was packed, our server was really on it. Perfect for catching up with friends without feeling rushed.

Great spot for a party! The atmosphere was spot on for a group of friends, and the staff handled our big table so well.

The coffee itself is the real star here. They use a single-origin Ethiopian bean, and the pour-over brings out these bright, almost floral notes. It's a clean, complex cup. The setting is nice, but honestly, I'd come back just for that coffee.

The quiz night was a blast! The host kept things moving and the questions were actually fun, not just random trivia. We didn't win bingo, but the whole vibe was so energetic. Definitely a solid spot for a laugh with mates.

The roast pork was lovely, especially the belly and that huge Yorkshire pudding. The veg selection was a nice surprise. But honestly, for the price, I was expecting a slightly bigger portion. It was tasty, just felt a bit light for the cost.

Lovely Pub with excellent food and staff, we had a great time as a family here and would recommend it to anyone show appreciates English pubs in lovely settings

The converted barn is a good size for a family, with everything you need. It's clean and comfortable. A bit dated in places, but it did the job for our stay.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Had the fish and chips, came out fast. Good portion, crispy batter. The fireplace is a nice touch, makes it feel cozy. Service was quick and friendly. Perfect for a midweek bite.

Stopped in after seeing Stonehenge. The staff were really welcoming, especially with my mates who'd never had Indian food before. Their suggestions were bang on.

Been coming here for years, and the staff are the main reason. They actually remember you, chat a bit, and their suggestions are always spot on. Makes it feel like your local spot, not just another restaurant.

The carvery was a good choice for a busy day. The meats were cooked nicely, and the vegetables were fresh. It felt like a straightforward, comforting meal. The staff were friendly and kept things moving, which was appreciated.
