As a coeliac, I'm always scanning menus. They had a solid gluten-free section, which is a relief. I went for the GF pasta with mushrooms. It was cooked properly, not mushy like some places. Portion was decent too. Makes a change from just having a salad option.

The salmon starter from the tandoor was lovely, really tender. It came out just warm, not hot, which was a bit of a shame. Still, the flavour was spot on.

Tuesday special is a solid deal - pizza and a drink for a tenner. The pizza from the wood oven was spot on, and the cheesecake was a good way to end it.

The local ales here are spot on. Good value for the quality, and they're on the Cask Marque trail for a reason.

The brewery tour with Max was pretty good. He clearly knows his stuff and the tasting was decent. Just wish it had been a bit longer.

Lovely little local pub, perfect for catching up with mates. The vibe is super cosy, and the food is way better than you'd expect for the price. We had the fish and chips and it was spot on. Will definitely be back for more casual drinks!

Decent bacon butty, flat white was fine. Stopped in for a quick bite during a walk. The butty was £8.50 though, felt a bit steep for what it was.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The crunchy salmon roll was spot on, really fresh. Prawn tempura was decent too. Just a solid, reliable sushi spot.

Been coming here for years. The classic cod and chips is solid, but I really like that they change up the daily specials. Gives you something different to try now and then.

The spli dosa was wonderfully crisp, and the chicken curry had such a rich flavour. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted in every bite. Made the trip from Cardiff feel worthwhile.

Lovely spot by the river. The vegetarian feast is huge but tasty. The staff were really friendly and attentive.

Came here with a group of friends last week. The paneer was incredible, honestly some of the best I've had. Service was really friendly and quick, which is perfect when you're catching up with people. A bit on the pricier side, but we all enjoyed it.

The pizza base was so light and crispy, honestly one of the best textures I've come across. Just the right amount of chew. The ice cream scoop was huge too, a nice bonus!

Been coming here for years. The hake is always spot on, never overcooked. That's why I keep coming back.

Great spot for a quick bite with the dog. Staff are friendly, they even have water bowls out. Food came fast, burger was decent. Nice to see a place that welcomes the whole family. 👍

Good pub quiz night, and the food's solid. Had the fish and chips, batter was crisp, chips proper chunky. Staff were really friendly, even sorted a table for our group last minute.

Been coming here for years, and the beef roast is always spot on. Never greasy, never dry. Just a solid, reliable Sunday lunch by the canal. That's what keeps me coming back.

Peri-peri chicken is spot on. Good kick. The vaults location is cool, feels like a cave. Different vibe from their other spots.

The milkshakes were a real highlight. Creamy and full of flavour, they went perfectly with the burgers. A pretty good choice overall.

The vegetarian dishes were so fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Really appreciated the quality of the ingredients.

Love that you can grab a bottle from the shop and pay corkage. Staff helped me pick a nice red that went perfectly with the steak. Corkage fee is a bit steep, but still cheaper than most wine lists.

The lemon tart and matcha yuzu tart are delicious. But honestly, the portions are a bit on the small side for the price. A single tart is nearly £8, which feels a little steep.

Solid Latino vibe. Great music. Harry's a lovely host. Tapas and cocktails are a must-try. Fresh veggies were a nice touch.

Had the tasting menu here on a business dinner. Food was fresh, flavours were clear and distinct. Service was efficient, which was appreciated given the late booking. Price point is on the higher side, but the quality justifies it for this context.

The staff were really nice about us arriving just before closing. They didn't rush us at all, which was appreciated. The service was pretty good and made for a pleasant evening.
