TheForkUserFirst of all, the atmosphere is great! Place is looking so romantic with the candles on the each table. Meals are definitely delicious and the service is really good. The only thing is, meal options are not too much. You will have limited selection, but everyone can find a great taste.

TheForkUserThe food at Ella Cafe was the highlight! I ate the weekly pasta which was with green asparagus and it was perfectly cooked and super tasty. The cappuccino at the end was the best I’ve ever had! Sitting by the window looking at Konigsplatz made a wonderful view. The staff was having fun with each other and seemed unsure they wanted to be friendly with me but by the end they warmed up and were very friendly. I really enjoyed my late afternoon lunch here.

But it was not much different from other good German restaurants, albeit quite a bit more expensive. Good wine list, but pricey. Expect to pay at least 50 € for a bottle.

TheForkUserWhat a great experience at Medici in Munich. The staff went out of their way to make a special evening for us. The food was delicious, service was excellent, prices were very reasonable compared to what we would have expected in the US. The truffled pasta and gnocchi were amazing, a delicious 2017 Brunello di Monticino was decanted and a perfect accompaniment to the Beef Carpaccio appetizer, rich and creamy main course and a surprising Creme Brulee that was fired up seconds before being served. Excellent Amaro Montenegro digestives were the night cap and so delicious over fresh orange slices and ice. If we had another evening here, we would return!Magnifico!

Expected a bit more when it comes to chocolate cheesecake serving - the plate topped with cocoa seemed like nobody had time to prepare a nice desert. Thank you! Had a wonderful time before going to Isarphilharmonie :))

The food is good and perfect for after a night of beer drinking. Wait staff are kind and speak English perfectly. Sitting outside is nice and blankets are provided.
