The coffee is so good, you can tell they really care. And the bread is made fresh! Perfect spot for a long catch-up with friends, we stayed for hours. 😊

The smoked duck quesadilla was pretty good, generous portion and the flavour was decent. Carbonara was fine too. A solid choice if you like smoked duck.

Great spot for a quick coffee fix. They roast their own beans right here, lots of choices. The espresso was strong and smooth, perfect for a fast pick-me-up. Modern space, no fuss. Got my order in under a minute.

I highly recommend trying the sharing platter! The prawn cucur udang and beef rendang were exceptional, and the prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food.

This restaurant offers the best Assam Laksa I've ever tasted! The flavors are authentic and aromatic, making it a must-visit in Georgetown.

Great spot for a Sunday brunch with friends. The live music really makes it feel like a community hangout.

am a Singaporean family of 4 visiting penang and was totally fed up after my visit today. nothing against mdm soon (aged CKT chef) but the $14 (large) CKT was literally soaked in oil when served. not for the health conscious.then there is the drink store aged auntie boss who pointed to us a sign which says, no order drinks need pay rm50cts. which to us was fine since we are bot fans of canned sugar drinks. so we told her we pay 50cts when she point us to the sign. after a few mins, she returned and tols us 50cts applies to each dinner who dont order drinks. i asked her 3 times where on ur sign says per diner? she cant answer but insist we pay her $2. fed up i stood up, told her off that its not that i cannot afford to pay $2, it is just unreasonable. left with plate of CKT and chopsticks on hand and ate outside under hot sun.patronisers beware. the experience irks me and i vowed never to return, ever. period.

The wontons and Hokkien mee were really nice. The seats are comfortable, which made for a relaxing meal.

The hojicha latte was smooth, just right. The dark roast americano had a nice chocolatey note to it. Solid coffee spot.

Loved the indoor trees and gravel floor. It's a really unique space, feels like you're dining in a little garden. Made for a very relaxed lunch.

Cute little cafe with friendly small dogs roaming around. No pet smell at all, which is a big plus. Staff were nice. Had a latte here, it was decent. Good for a quiet coffee break.

Coffee's solid, reminds me of Melbourne. Staff are nice. The cat outside is a chill bonus. Quick stop for a caffeine fix.

A small space, but it feels cosy. I enjoyed sitting at the bar watching them brew the coffee. It's a decent spot for a quiet moment. The coffee itself was pretty good, though the seating is a bit limited.

The Mugshot Cafe serve fresh coffee, hand-crafted juices, homemade yogurt, and the best bagels in George Town, Penang. The cafe has great décor(recycled wood furniture) and ambiance. relaxed & casual vibe where you can sit for hours as you sip your coffee. people go with friends & family to chat and relax.

Been coming here for years. The outdoor tables are my spot, especially after a beach walk. Just a chilled vibe, nothing fancy. They've kept that same relaxed feel all this time.

The food has a nice homemade feel. I was impressed with their wine list, which had some good options to pair with the hearty portions.

A nice little family-run place. The mutton curry was pretty good, rich and fragrant. The chilli prawns had a decent spicy-tangy gravy, went well with the parathas. A solid meal.

The beef rendang is a standout. The meat was incredibly tender, falling apart easily. The spice blend was complex, not just hot. A solid version of this classic.

Stumbled upon this place while catching up with a friend. The AC was a lifesaver, and the free wifi meant we could linger over our lattes and pastries without feeling rushed. Perfect for a long chat. The coffee was really good, but the pastries were a bit on the small side. Still, a cozy spot to escape the heat.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The rustic wooden decor is relaxing. Got a table with a power plug, perfect for a fast bite and a bit of work. Service was friendly and quick.
