This is my go-to spot in Belmopan. The Beliceña is really good—you can pick leg or breast. Happy hour is a great deal, and they'll bring out a delicious habanero sauce on request.

Stumbled in without expecting much. The food was decent and service was pretty good. They even brought out a little something for my birthday. Fine spot.

The whole snapper was solid, jerk chicken too. Staff knew the menu and didn't rush us. Tostadas are a good call to start with.

The jalapeño vodka was the standout—smooth with just enough heat. Mojito was decent too, though the piña colada came out a bit sweet for me. Bartender clearly knows what they're doing. Place was quiet when I stopped by, which helped. Fine spot if you're in the area and want a proper drink.

Walked in around noon and grabbed the last order of stuffed fry jacks. Crispy outside, the beans and cheese inside were still piping hot. Real homestyle cooking, you can tell they've been doing this for years. Place was packed by 1, so yeah, go early or you'll miss out.

Stopped in for a drink after the beach and ended up staying way longer than planned. Bartenders are super chill, no rush at all. They serve later than most spots on the island, which is rare. Pool table and darts in the back, even a little corner for kids. Felt like a proper local hangout, not a tourist trap. Wish I'd found it sooner.

Owner came out and made me a fryjack even though it was lunchtime. Said they only do those for breakfast but she did it anyway. Food was hot and fresh, that's what matters. Place gets busy so go early if you want a seat. Not fancy but it's real Belizean cooking.

Stopped by for a smoothie bowl and ended up staying longer than planned. They hand you a free iced coffee and mini donut sample right when you walk in—nice touch. Staff actually remembered my name on the second visit, which caught me off guard. Bowl was solid, though a bit small for the price. Ocean view helps.

Came for the lobster, left happy. The shrimp-stuffed one was fresh and rich, curry sauce worked well. Service stayed friendly even when busy. Pricier than other island spots, but you get what you pay for. A crisp white wine would've made it perfect.

Garlic shrimp and grilled lobster were both done right—shrimp had good char, lobster was tender. Watermelon cooler on the side hit the spot. 👍

Had the fish tostadas while killing time before the ferry. Right by the water taxi pier, so you can watch people rush by. Tostadas were solid—fish tasted fresh, decent crunch. Beer was cold. Prices fair for being that close to the dock. Not life-changing, but it hit the spot.

The smoked fish appetizer and pasta were solid. Got seated right away for an early dinner, which was nice. Only thing—the chairs felt a bit cramped after a while.

Came here with a couple friends on a random weekday and honestly the bagels hit the spot. Way better than the ones I usually grab back home. Staff was chill and didn’t rush us while we figured out our order. Just wish they had more seating, we ended up squeezing at a small table by the window. Still, solid spot for a casual catch-up 😊

The coconut and rum & raisin flavors were really good—you can tell they use fresh ingredients. I sat outside and the vibe was chill, nothing fancy but comfortable. Wish they had more sugar-free options though, but for a casual stop it worked fine.

The grilled fish at the next table looked really fresh, flaky and nicely charred. I only stopped in for a drink, so I can't speak to the full menu, but the staff checked on me a few times without hovering. Place is small, kind of tucked away. Felt like a local spot more than a tourist stop. Would like to go back hungry next time.

The lobster was decent—spiced well and the meat came out sweet. Drinks were fine too. Price felt fair for what you get.

Solid brisket and those homemade onion rings hit the spot. Live music made it a good vibe for a weekend stop. Right on the waterfront, easy to find. Heard the breakfast is the real deal, so probably gonna come back for that. Service was a bit slow but whatever.

The cooking class was solid—learned some practical tips for pupusas and ceviche. Staff were friendly, kept things moving.

We came for the lobster and honestly it didn't disappoint. I got the garlic butter one, good but my husband ordered the jerk version and that sauce was something else. He hasn't stopped talking about it since. Place gets busy so go early if you want a seat.

The molten lava cake at the pool bar was seriously good. Warm, gooey center, and the vanilla ice cream on top just melted into it. I wasn't expecting much from a pool bar, honestly. Maybe a little too sweet at the end, but I still finished every bite. That texture though.

Stopped by for dinner after a long day. I’m gluten-free vegan, so I asked about the coconut curry. They actually brought out the spice mix to show me—no cross-contamination worries. Curry and coconut rice were solid. My wife had the lobster and went back for seconds the next night. Service was quick, no fuss. Good spot if you’re in the area and want something simple.

The La San Pedrana breakfast hit the spot, bacon was crispy and eggs seasoned just right. Beans were a letdown though, a bit undercooked.

The curry chicken here hit the spot. Tender, decent heat, sauce had real depth. Owner was friendly too, which never hurts. Nothing fancy, just solid food done right. I'd come back just for that plate again.

The grilled octopus here was properly charred, tender in the middle. That smoky flavor carried the whole plate. Didn't need the sauce honestly. Portion's on the smaller side for the price but the taste makes up for it. Would order two next time.

Decent spot in San Ignacio for lunch. Food was pretty good, staff friendly enough. Nothing fancy but it does the job when you're hungry.
