Food was amazing. Friendly staff great who took a good care of us. Ambience was cozy and very nice. Definitely we will come back any time soon

Stopped here during a Pieterpad hike and the coffee with a side of liqueur and whipped cream was a lovely surprise. The apple pie was tasty too.

Stopped in for coffee and cake on a quiet afternoon. The apple cake was really good—moist, not too sweet, with a nice crumb. I liked that the fruit tasted fresh, not like it had been sitting around. Staff were friendly too, even when I asked to take a photo. Just a solid spot for a simple break.

Nice terrace spot, no smoke bothering you. Chef came out to double-check the tuna salad for my dairy allergy. Fresh greens, solid flavors.

Pizza was ready when we got there, even though we ordered while still loading the car. Thin crust, decent amount of toppings, and it came pre-sliced which made eating in the parking lot way easier. Paid around €12 for a medium, felt fair for what you got. Not the best pizza I've had in the Netherlands, but solid for a quick bite before hitting the road.

The food was incredibly different, but in a good way. I definitely recommend this restaurant for its unique offerings.

The apple pie with real whipped cream was the standout. Crust was buttery, filling had just enough cinnamon, and the cream was properly thick. Ate it on the terrace watching the square do its thing. Pie did most of the talking. Service was fine but honestly I was too busy with that slice to care much about anything else.

What a fantastic dining experience! The food was super delicious and beautifully presented, making it a treat for both the eyes and the palate. Highly recommended!

Been coming here for a while now. The sausage is what keeps me coming back, honestly. Pizza's solid too, had it a few times. Chicken burger was meh last visit, but I didn't come for that anyway. Place still looks nice, staff knows what they're doing. Consistent, that's the main thing for me.

Grilled tuna was done just right, still pink in the middle. Place has a nice relaxed feel, not too fancy. Staff were friendly enough without hovering. Decent spot if you're in the area and want a simple dinner. Prices are fair for what you get. Maybe not mind-blowing, but it did the job.

I appreciate the hospitality and the effort the staff put into ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The food was tasty, and I look forward to returning.

Had the duck — pretty damn good, honestly. Onion soup was decent too, hit the spot on a cold evening. Place was busy but we got a table quick. Portion size felt right for the price. Not the kind of spot you'd dress up for, but fine for a casual dinner.

The food was good, but honestly the host's furry dog just made the whole place feel so cozy. Quiet spot too, which I appreciated.

Came here for the first time last week and honestly the staff made it. Super friendly, a bit chatty but in a good way. We had some tapas and drinks — food was solid, came out fast. Nothing fancy but I’d go back if I’m in the area again. Maybe a bit busy around 7 though.

Came here with a voucher and honestly didn't expect much. Three-course menu had solid options, food came out quick and hot. No complaints about the portion sizes either. Place was busy but I still got my food within 15 minutes. That's what I call a proper lunch spot. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Came in during the holiday rush and honestly expected a mess. Food was solid though, and the staff kept things moving. Portion sizes were decent for what you pay. My only tiny gripe—the place was a bit loud, but that’s on me for going at peak time. Would eat here again.

The staff asked about allergies before we even ordered, which I really appreciated. Felt looked after without it being a whole thing. Food was solid too.

Loved the wine pairing here — really spot on. Dishes are small but punchy with flavor. Organic and local, you can tell. Just wish portions were a bit bigger.

Owner really knows how to make you feel welcome, always greets you with a smile. Family-run vibe is nice, though the staff seemed a bit green. Still, decent spot.

Been coming here for a while now, and the meat still arrives at the table sizzling just like the first time. That sound alone gets me every visit. Service has stayed consistent too, which I appreciate. Only thing that catches people off guard is the cash-only policy, so come prepared. Not a big deal once you know.

Warm welcome when we walked in, that was nice. Food was good, staff kept checking on us. Solid spot in the city centre, nothing fancy but does the job.

Stopped here for a quick bite and honestly didn’t expect much from the outside. Looked like a regular truck stop but inside it’s got that American bistro vibe. Food was solid, had the burger and it hit the spot. Cocktail was a nice touch for a lunch break. Service was quick, no waiting around. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

The pizza was solid but honestly a bit pricey for what you get. The profiteroles didn't really do it for me. Cute spot for a date though, the vibe is pretty romantic 🍕

Second time here. Food's solid — pasta was cooked right, sauce had actual flavour. Place was pretty quiet for a Tuesday, which I didn't mind. Service was better than last visit, more attentive. Not cheap but fair for what you get. Fine if you're in Almelo and want a decent meal without the fuss.

Came in for a quick lunch, grabbed a seat at the counter. Sushi was fresh, chef clearly knows what he's doing. We actually drove over from Germany just for this place. Worth the trip, no question. Service was fast too, which I appreciate during a work break.

The chicken was really fresh, not dry at all. You can tell they prepare everything when you order. Place was busy, so I waited a bit longer than I wanted. But the quality made up for it. I'd go back for that chicken again. 🍗
