Loved that they had proper vegetarian options that weren't just an afterthought. The grilled halloumi was actually tasty. Delivery came fast too, which never happens where I stay.

Tried the homemade burger patties — really good, juicy and well seasoned. The staff were friendly and checked in without hovering. Place was a bit busy when I went, but they found me a comfortable spot near the window. Solid choice if you want a relaxed meal without fuss.

The lighting here is what got me. Soft, warm, not that harsh fluorescent stuff. We sat near the window and the whole place just felt calm. Food was decent, nothing crazy, but the vibe made it worth staying longer than we planned. Maybe a little slow on the drinks, but I wasn't in a rush.

Came for the fresh ingredients—really liked how crisp the veggies were. Portion was a bit small though, left wanting a little more. Rethabile took good care of us. 🌿

The wood-fired pizza was solid, crust had a good char. Kids loved the play area, though it's looking a bit tired and could do with a proper clean.

Had lunch here with a couple of friends and honestly the view alone is worth it 🌊 We grabbed a table by the window and just sat there chatting way longer than we should've. Food was solid, nothing mind-blowing but tasty enough. Service was fine, not too pushy. Would come back just for the relaxed vibe honestly.

Stopped here after a round and sat outside—the golf course view is honestly the highlight. Clubhouse itself is pretty nice too. I had the chicken dish and it was solid, though nothing mind-blowing. My friends enjoyed theirs as well. Decent spot if you're already in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Solid smash burgers and fries. Waitress sorted us out when the wind kicked up on the deck, moved tables without a fuss. BBQ wings were a bit off though, tasted more like tomato sauce. Durban North branch stays consistent, that's the main thing.

Came here for a quick bite after walking around the Pearl. The hazelnut latte was solid, and the avocado toast hit the spot. Place has that modern, open feel you don't always get in malls. Service was friendly enough. Only thing is the seating could be a bit more comfy if you're planning to stay a while.

The sushi’s solid, and that Wednesday deal—20 pieces for half price—is honestly hard to beat. I’ve been a few times now and it’s become my go-to midweek thing. Service is usually fine, but when it’s busy it gets a bit all over the place. Still, worth it for the price. Just maybe go a bit earlier to avoid the rush.

The high tea here is a proper treat. Got a good mix of sweet and savoury bites, and they swapped the savouries for veggie ones without any fuss. Service was friendly the whole way through. Terrace has a killer sea view too. Just wish the scones came out a bit warmer, but that's me being picky.

The seating is super comfortable, which honestly made us want to stay longer. The veggie options were proper dishes, not just an afterthought. Left full and happy.

We stopped by for a late lunch and I was really happy with how fresh everything tasted. The grilled fish was light, not oily at all, and the veggies still had a bit of crunch. Our waitress Snothile was lovely too, took time to explain the specials without rushing us. Place was warm and cosy, easy to relax in. Only thing, it got a bit busy after 1pm, but that’s probably a good sign.

Stopped by for a slice of cake and coffee. Big portions, that's for sure. Place was quiet enough to sit and relax for a bit. Staff were friendly, didn't rush me. Cake was good, not too sweet. Fine spot if you're in the area and need a break.

We came in with a big group, place was packed. Service still kept up, no long waits for drinks or food. That's not always easy to pull off. Food was decent, nothing fancy, but they handled the crowd well. Good spot if you're with a bunch of people and don't want to be waiting around all night.

Stopped by for a chocolate croissant and honestly it was still warm. Flaky, buttery, the chocolate actually melted through it. Coffee was decent too. Place has that laid-back beach feel, easy to just sit and chill for a while. Wish I lived closer, honestly.

The sushi was spot on, and that mojito paired perfectly with the prawn pasta. A bit noisy inside, but the breeze outside helps.

The bunny chow here is still solid—fresh bread and that proper Durban curry taste. Portions are big enough to skip lunch before. Ocean view's a nice touch too.

The burgers here are seriously good—like, I’m still thinking about them days later. The shoestring fries were crispy and salty just right. Service was quick too, which I appreciated since I was starving. Only thing is it got a bit busy around lunch, but that’s probably a good sign. Definitely my new spot for a burger fix. 🍔

The veggie patty was solid, but when I asked about the vegan burger they had on the menu, the staff seemed totally lost. Ended up just going with the regular one. Fine for a quick bite, nothing crazy.

Sat outside on a warm afternoon, that was the highlight. Steak came out cooked properly, rosé was decent too. Andile looked after us well, no complaints there. Place wasn't too busy which helped. Just a solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

The flat white here was properly made, not too hot, good crema. I sat by the window and just watched the sea for a while, no rush. Pastry was fine, flaky enough. Service was friendly, didn't hover. Only thing is the seats are a bit hard after an hour, but that's minor. I'd come back for the coffee alone.
