Grabbed the Yorkie and Pedigree hot dogs with friends. The Yorkie was so good, we almost ordered another! Staff were still smiling in that crazy heatwave, which was nice. A solid spot for a casual catch-up.

Been here a few times with the kids. Staff are always patient, and the kids' menu is actually decent. Prices are fair for what you get. It's a reliable choice when you don't want a fuss.

The mixed grill portions were generous and the steaks came out just right. Comfortable seating too, which made the meal relaxing.

First visit, and I really liked the space. It's clean, feels well-run, and the tables are nicely spaced out. The natural light in the afternoon was a nice touch. Food was fresh, which matched the vibe.

The host here is so lovely! She chatted with us about Thailand while we waited for our pad thai. It felt like having a friend show you around. Made the whole meal way more fun than just grabbing food.

Service was on point, they kept checking in without being pushy. The garlic chilli chicken was the star, so light and flavourful. The naan was perfect with it. Prices felt fair for what you get.

Came for the fish but honestly, the chips stole the show. They're chunky, perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Just like my gran used to make. That's the real deal.

Loved stumbling upon this local pub during our stay. The live band was a total surprise - no cover charge, just a great vibe on a Tuesday night. We grabbed a couple pints and stayed for the whole set.

Nice little garden out back. Perfect for a quick bite with my dog. They've got heaters and a covered bit too, so you can sit out even if it's a bit drizzly. Just what I needed on my lunch break.

The bar is well-stocked, nice vibe. Cocktails were lovely, you can really taste the quality spirits they use. A solid choice for a drink.

The Christmas Eve dinner was a proper treat, and the coffee's always spot on. But for what you pay, I did expect a bit more on the plate for the main course. Still, the quality is there.

Lovely little spot, feels like a proper neighbourhood cafe. The food was tasty, no complaints there. Just thought the prices were a bit high for what it is. Nice that they don't add a service charge though.

Had the ribeye, cooked just how I like it. They really know their way around a steak here. A solid spot for a reliable cut.

The kunafah was the star for me. Still warm, crispy on top and not overly sweet. The areeka was nice too, a bit like a sticky toffee pudding but different. Just stopped in for dessert and left happy.

Lovely little spot for a cuppa. The pot of tea was generous, easily two cups. Toast and jam was fine, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Saw some tempting cakes on the counter though.

Been coming here for years, always solid. The crab chowder's the one to get - proper flavour, not too thick. Had it last week, still hits the spot. Coffee's decent too.

Vegan options here are surprisingly good. The mock chicken tenders are substantial and satisfying. Sauces are fresh. Got my order in under 10 minutes, perfect for a quick lunch.

Loved the retro arcade corner! Spent a good while playing pinball while waiting for our table. It's a nice touch that keeps everyone entertained.

Stumbled into this place inside Brew York. The bao buns were huge and seriously flavourful. Had a couple with one of their own beers. Solid combo for a casual bite.

Loved the steam-punk theme and the sofas are super comfy. The 'meat feast' toastie was really good, generous filling for the price. Cakes looked great but I was too full to try one.

The vegan scone was a lovely treat, and I really appreciated how patiently the staff answered my questions about allergens. It made for a relaxed, worry-free afternoon.

Lovely spot by the old Roman walls. The coffee was spot on, and their wine list had a few nice surprises to go with the cakes.

The outdoor seating is lovely, gets sun all afternoon. They open the big doors when the weather's good. Really nice spot to just sit and take in the vibe.
