Just tried their new pizza. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the burrata on top was a lovely touch. Really hope this one stays on the menu for good!

Been coming here for years, and the steak diana is always spot on. Just the right consistency, every single time. That’s why I keep coming back.

Been coming here for years. The carvery's always generous with the meat portions, never feels stingy like some of the chain places. That's what keeps me coming back.

Been here a few times with friends. The food is always spot on and the prices are decent. Just a heads up, check your bill - we had a tiny mix-up once, but they fixed it right away.

The stonebaked pizza was really good, and they have a nice selection of beers. But the best part for me was the olives – honestly the tastiest I've had in ages.

Quick bite at lunch. Food came out fast, the nibbles were spot on. Place is dog-friendly, which is a plus. Got a bit loud when the game was on, but fine after. Good for a speedy lunch.

The barman knew his stuff, suggested a great local ale to go with the pie. Perfect spot for a pint in such an old building.

Saban was so friendly and attentive, really made us feel looked after. The vibe in here is just right, not too loud but still feels lively.

The bottomless brunch here is fantastic! Our server Simon was attentive and made sure we never ran out of drinks. Highly recommend for a fun outing!

Came in after a walk in the park. Sausage rolls were the highlight. Flaky pastry, proper filling. Busy but service stayed on point.

The fish supper was so fresh, you could taste the sea. It came out steaming hot, and the batter was just right. That first bite made the whole evening.

The garlic bread with cheese is a must-order to share! It's so good we almost didn't leave room for the pizza 😅

Chicken tikka butter masala was my quick lunch pick. Creamy, not heavy at all. Flavour's got real depth. Came out super fast, which is what I needed. Good portion for the price. Solid spot for a quick bite.

The Bailey's Caramel dessert is a solid choice for sharing. Good portion for the price point. It's rich, but not overly sweet. Service was prompt when we ordered it.

Lovely spot for a first visit! The beer garden was perfect for a sunny afternoon. My fish and chips were proper homemade, crispy batter and all. Service was relaxed and friendly, they even brought a water bowl for our dog.

Came here for lunch after picking up some groceries nearby. It was very quiet, just after opening. I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients were in my noodle bowl. The vegetables were crisp and the broth tasted clean, not heavy. A nice, simple spot for a healthy meal.

Lovely spot in the village square. The decor is a nice mix of old and new, very comfortable. I found the armchairs by the fireplace especially cosy for a quiet drink.

The bottomless brunch was solid. Jazmin was a star, really knew her stuff with the cocktails and kept the refills coming right on time for the full two hours. Made the whole thing a breeze.

Loved the interior design here! The food was fantastic, and the staff were so kind. A great first impression of York.

Nice beer garden out back, heaters were on so it was cosy even in the evening. Inside felt warm and lively, but it was packed when we went - had to wait a bit for a table.

The Super Green burger was sensational. Great vegan options on the menu and with the beers.

Great spot if you're rushing for a train. Rooms are big and modern, no complaints there. Got a quick bite at the cafe downstairs, food was ready in minutes. Perfect for a short stay.

The handmade ice cream is pretty good, with a decent selection of flavours. The owner is always friendly.

Been coming here for years. Staff always remember you, makes it feel like your local. Food's solid, never had a bad meal.

The food arrived quickly and was tasty, though just warm. The wine list had some nice options for pairing.

Always a lovely, friendly welcome here. The service is genuinely warm and attentive, which makes dining out feel so relaxing. The food is consistently good, too. A really comfortable spot for a quiet meal.

Lovely staff, super helpful with my dietary needs. The chorizo carbonara was great, and the meatballs were tasty but quite spicy! 😅 Just a heads-up if you're not big on heat. A good spot for a casual catch-up.

The haddock was so fresh and flaky, and the portion size is generous for the price. Really appreciate the quality of ingredients here.

The tea for two is such a good deal. Loved the homemade crisps and the banoffee cheesecake was spot on. The whole place just feels really clean and bright, which I always appreciate. A nice spot to unwind.

Decent afternoon tea for a quick bite. Good variety, portions were generous. They even gave a box for the leftover cake. Perfect for a fast afternoon treat.
