Colette was so lovely and helpful! We had pizza, steaks, risotto, and dessert. The vibe was perfect for a catch-up with friends, really relaxed. Prices felt fair for what we got.

The Sunday roast was a proper treat. Huge portions, and the beef was cooked just right. Loved that they weren't stingy with the gravy, it made all the difference.

Found this little spot just outside the centre. The Everest Taas was spot on, and the pickle tray really worked with it. They've got a decent local beer selection too, which paired nicely with the spices. Simple place, but the flavours are all there.

Great spot for live music. Sound system is solid, not too loud. Caught a couple of good acts last Friday. Cozy vibe, perfect for a quick drink after work.

The Sunday roast here is a solid choice. Meat was cooked just right, trimmings were all good. Got my plate in under 15 minutes, which is perfect for a quick, filling lunch. No fuss, just a proper feed.

Staff remembered my name from a previous visit, which was a nice touch. They sat me at a quiet corner table, perfect for a solo dinner. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Made for a relaxed evening.

The lunch deal with fish and chips is a solid shout for a catch-up. Good portion and a drink for £13.

The Hugo Spritz was spot on. The Sticky Chicken from the bar snacks menu though, that was the star. Perfectly glazed, tender, and just the right size for sharing. A solid choice for a casual drink and a bite.

Sunday lunch today was our second meal here after an excellent prix fixe dinner earlier in the week. Everything from the buffet spread to start with to the main meal and dessert was first-rate, made even more special by the fact that the expected sirloin of beef was replaced by chateaubriand! Served pink at our request it was tender and succulent. Fullmarks to the chef and to Will our genial and professional server.

Amazing service and such a lovely friendly waiter , food was fast and lovely , Only quark was the restaurant was chilly bar that 9/10 for me even went back the night after

Been coming here for years, and Angie and Phoebe always remember us. Makes a busy night feel easy.

Came for a group dinner, went with the banquet option. The spread was huge, loads of hot dishes kept coming. For the price per person, you definitely get your money's worth. Portions are generous, everyone left stuffed. Good for when you want a proper feast without breaking the bank.

The staff were really helpful with the menu, and their wine pairing suggestion was spot on.

Nice relaxed spot, good for a casual family meal. We grabbed a table outside and the kids were happy just running around. Food was decent, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Could do with a few more high chairs though.

Quick service even when busy, staff were efficient. Had a simple lunch here between meetings. The relaxed atmosphere is a plus for a working meal.

Really enjoyed the vegan club sandwich here. It was a proper, filling lunch. The menu has some good veggie options too, which is nice. Found it all reasonably priced. A comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

The granola slice from the cake counter is the thing. It's got a good chew, not too sweet, and the oats still have some bite to them. That's what I came back for.

We were visiting family nearby and stopped in for lunch. The off-street parking was a real plus, made it so easy. The food was lovely, and the service was very friendly and attentive. A comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

Booked ahead, which was needed. Cash only, so had to run to the ATM. The portion sizes were generous for the price, which was a relief. Felt like I got my money's worth.

Popped in for a quick bite while in Bridlington. The menu's got loads of options, which is handy. Staff were friendly and quick.

Great spot for anyone with dietary needs. The separate vegan menu is a nice touch, and they had several gluten-free cakes. I tried the chocolate cake with oat milk – solid choice. Staff knew their stuff and were happy to help.

The fish and chips were spot on. Crispy batter, fresh fish. The real winner for me was the house pale ale—cut through the richness perfectly. A bit pricey for a casual meal, but the pairing made it worthwhile.

Been coming here for years, and the fillet steak is always cooked just right. It’s the one thing I know I can count on every time.

Tried the Sicilian calzone on Bishopthorpe Road. It was massive, each bite had something different - the mozzarella was really good and the tomato sauce rich. Finished with a scoop of their fresh ice cream from the bar. Solid spot.

My gluten-free diet means I rarely get good cake. Their lemon and rose meringue was a proper treat. The whole menu can be made GF, which is a relief. My dog enjoyed his sausage, too.

The beef stroganoff pie was the special. Really generous filling, you could tell it was all homemade. The flavour was spot on, not too heavy. Just a good, solid pie.

Came in without a booking and they were so welcoming. The service was spot-on throughout. A highlight was the sommelier's suggestion for a red to go with the steak—really made the dish. Staff are genuinely attentive without being overbearing.

Five cheese and wine pairing. They explained each one, which was nice. Made for a good, relaxed evening. Service was a bit slow between courses, but the food itself was spot on. Solid choice if you're not in a rush.

Popped in after a walk. The pork belly was spot on - crispy skin, tender meat. Got a bit busy later, service slowed down. Decent spot if you're nearby.
