The oat latte is a standout. They serve it with a little heart-shaped shortbread, which is a nice touch. The coffee itself is excellent, really well-balanced. It paired nicely with the quiet morning vibe. A solid spot for a proper coffee.

My gluten-free diet means I rarely get good cake. Their lemon and rose meringue was a proper treat. The whole menu can be made GF, which is a relief. My dog enjoyed his sausage, too.

Love the old-school pub vibe here, feels just right for York. The bar looks great with those barrels. Staff were really friendly too.

Been coming here for years, and the private room upstairs is still my favourite spot. The view never gets old.

Generous portions, but the menu could use more fresh, healthy options.

Great spot for a catch-up with mates. Just drinks, no food, but the vibe is right for a chilled evening.

Love the flower-painted courtyard! It's such a nice spot to sit and relax. The inside feels spacious too, never crowded.

The food here feels just like a home-cooked meal. The staff are so friendly, which makes the whole experience very relaxed. It's nice to know the place supports a good cause, too. Prices are very fair for what you get.

Hugo Spritz was a great choice for a quick bite. Staff suggested it, spot on. Refreshing, hit the spot. Good wine list too. Quick service, in and out.

Grabbed a quick lunch here. The vegan sausage sourdough toastie was spot on. Came with a decent pile of crisps and salad too. Good portion for the price. Got me in and out fast, which is exactly what I needed.

Big menu, everything looks good. Ordered the steak and it was cooked just right. Took a bit longer than expected, but no rush. Solid spot.

Staff are always so friendly, makes it a nice spot to unwind. Asked for my latte extra hot and they got it just right. It's the little things.

Had a nice lunch outside on a sunny day. The Turkish eggs were really good, and the coffee was spot on. Service was fine, though it got a little slow when they got busy. A pleasant spot overall.

Came by on a quiet Wednesday night, just what I needed. The vibe was super chill, really easy to settle into. Ended up trying their signature pasta - the sauce had a nice, slow-cooked depth to it. Just a relaxed spot for a midweek dinner.

The coffee here is top-notch, a proper rich brew. Staff are lovely, really chatty. It's just a nice, easy-going spot to unwind with a good cup.

The cakes are freshly baked to order, which is a nice touch. The service was prompt and the assistant was friendly. It's a quiet spot, good for a quick coffee meeting. The cakes themselves were decent, though a bit on the sweet side for my taste.

A decent spot for a relaxed bite. The all-day breakfast was pretty good, though the crumble could have been a bit warmer.

Popped in for a late lunch, just before closing. The staff were fine with it. Had a simple toastie and chips. The chips were pretty good, decent portion for the price. A solid little spot.

Staff were friendly and polite, as usual. Service was helpful, no complaints there. Just a solid, reliable spot for a quick bite when you're in the area.

The staff here are so lovely and really make you feel looked after. They even swapped out the fillings in my afternoon tea sandwiches without any fuss!

The chicken noodle soup was the highlight. It had that proper home-cooked feel, with a clear, savoury broth and tender chicken. The noodles were just right. That's what I came for.

The eggs bene croissant was the standout. Perfectly runny yolk on a buttery, flaky croissant base. The hollandaise had a nice sharpness to it. The maple chai latte was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the spice blend was good.

A nice spot by the sea, and they even had water bowls for the dog. The wine list was decent, a pleasant surprise for a casual place.

A good option for gluten-free dining. They have a dedicated menu and separate fryers, which is reassuring.

Popped in with my daughter. That hot chocolate was something else - a proper mountain of cream and sprinkles on top. She was over the moon. Staff were really nice about it too.

Nice little spot, friendly staff. The food was tasty, and they had a decent house red that went well with my meal. Table was a bit wobbly though.
