A cool Cuban spot with great vibes for a catch-up. The full English was huge and came with proper butter - perfect for sharing with a friend.

The pastries are huge and so soft, like they just came out of the oven. I love that they're always trying new flavour ideas, keeps it interesting. My only tiny gripe is they can sell out of the popular ones quite early.

The staff were so kind. One server really took the time to help me adjust a dish for my dietary needs, which I appreciated.

The portions are massive! The food's fresh and tasty, definitely lives up to the hype.

The staff are so lovely here. They remembered my name from last time and gave us a little wave when we left. Just a nice touch that makes it feel like a proper local spot to catch up with mates.

Parking was easy, there's a big public car park right behind the cafe. That's a major plus for me when I'm just grabbing a quick bite. Saves a lot of hassle and time driving around.

Sunday roast hit the spot. Meat was tender, potatoes crispy, gravy rich. Just what you want on a lazy Sunday. Felt proper.

Stopped in for lunch, and the jacket potato was huge! Really appreciated the portion size for the price. The potato skin was crisp, and the filling was simple but fresh. Nice to see they're dog-friendly too.

Been coming here for years, and the BLT with their homemade coleslaw is the reason. It's always just right—crisp bacon, fresh bread, good portion. That consistency keeps me coming back. A solid local spot.

The bacon and cheese roll with onion relish was lovely. The staff were so friendly, which made it a really pleasant stop.

The upstairs is quiet and spacious, perfect for focusing. The student discount is a nice touch, and the coffee is decent for the price.

Been coming here for years. Coffee's always solid, and the staff are friendly. It's a reliable spot for a quick cuppa and a bite. Nothing fancy, but you know what you're getting.

The white hot chocolate was lovely, and the Maltese blondie was a nice treat. Service was friendly and efficient, made for a pleasant afternoon. The blondie was perhaps a touch too sweet for my taste, but still enjoyable.

Decent prices for food and drinks here, which was a nice surprise for the area. The pasta I had was pretty good, though the portion felt a bit on the small side. Still, a solid choice for a casual meal.

The veggie breakfast was a proper find. The halloumi was perfectly grilled, and the homemade beans had a nice little kick to them. Really hit the spot on a lazy Sunday. The waitress was lovely, too.

This is a lovely spot for a relaxed breakfast. The breakfast bap was spot on, and they were kind enough to bring a little sausage for our dog. My flat white was excellent—the right strength to cut through the richness of the food. A proper neighbourhood cafe.

Been here a couple of times now. It's a really pleasant spot, and the staff are always so friendly. The food is consistently good and honestly feels like a fair deal for the area. Just a small thing—I'd love to see an oat milk option for my coffee.

Perfect for a quick bite. The scones with cottage cream are a standout. Grabbed a raspberry-orange cake too. Both were fresh and hit the spot. Service was quick, got me in and out fast.

A solid, no-fuss spot for a classic fry-up. The scrambled eggs were pretty good, and it's decent value. Could have been a bit hotter, but a fine choice for a quick breakfast.

Hot and fresh, just what you need for a quick bite. The coffee is huge, perfect for a lunch break. They're dog-friendly too, which is a nice touch. Simple food done well, no complaints.

The Captain's breakfast was a proper treat, very generous. The scrambled eggs were just right, not too runny. Staff were lovely and attentive, which made for a relaxed morning.

Nice spot by the river for a coffee. The outdoor seats have a great view of the harbour. My latte was fine, but at £4.50 for a regular cup, it felt a bit steep for what it was. You're definitely paying for the location here.

Great spot for a quick bite. The loaded fries were solid, and the cortado hit the spot. Staff were friendly, place is clean. Heads up, no toilets here, but there's a public one just round the corner. 👍

The staff were so lovely, really made us feel welcome. They even brought a bowl of water and a little treat for our dog, which was a thoughtful gesture. The wine list had some interesting local options, though a few more by-the-glass choices would be nice.

Been here a few times now. The croissants are spot on, flaky and buttery. Sweet potato hash is solid too, simple but done right. It’s the kind of place that just gets the basics.

Popped in for a lazy breakfast with my mates. The full English was spot on, and the staff were so chill and friendly. It’s got that perfect vibe for a long, chatty catch-up. Definitely coming back to try their Sunday roast!

Cosy spot. The smoothies were spot on, and they paired nicely with the lunch we had. Good value.

The retro decor here is really charming. I love the old-school posters and the cozy booths. It's a nice spot to just sit and relax for a while.

The seafood was top-notch, especially the grilled sea bass. Service was efficient, staff were attentive without hovering. The view over the estuary is a real plus. A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for the location and quality.

Been here a few times now. The team is always really nice and helpful, which makes a difference. They remembered my usual order last time. Just a good, relaxed vibe because of them.
