Love the rotating taps here. Always find something new. Perfect for a quick pint after work. Selection of cans is huge too.

Valentine's dinner was lovely. The server was really friendly and attentive. Food was cooked perfectly, especially the steak. Just a bit pricey for the portion sizes.

The bartender really went out of his way for us. We were struggling to get a cab after dinner, and he sorted out an Uber on his own phone. Made sure we got in it okay. That kind of service, especially after a couple of great cocktails, is what makes a place stand out.

Came in on a quiet Tuesday. The lack of TVs is a nice touch, makes it easy to just talk. Had the fish and chips. Portion was generous for the price, really filled me up. Good spot for a simple, no-fuss meal.

A lovely, cosy pub. The new owners are so friendly and welcoming, it really makes a difference. The seats by the window are comfy for a quiet drink. Feels like it could become a regular spot.

The large Pepsi was a bit pricey. That's the only thing I'd mention. The burger itself was spot on - the patty had a proper char, and the cheese was nicely melted. Just a solid, straightforward burger.

The function room was spot on for our do, and the food was generous.

Celebrated a birthday here. Staff were really friendly, made the evening. Food was decent. A bit loud inside though.

Tried the cocktail masterclass with Aiden as our tutor. He was really patient, walked us through the basics. The hands-on bit was fun, and I picked up a few tips for balancing flavours at home. Good way to spend an afternoon if you enjoy a decent drink.

The back room was perfect for watching the game. The young server kept the drinks coming without us asking. Menu's huge, but the loaded fries were the standout. Crispy, with just the right amount of cheese and bacon. Could've used a bit more jalapeño kick, though.

The burgers were decent, but the portion size felt a bit small for the price. Drinks were quick though.

The goat curry is a must-try, it was so flavourful. The space itself is really nice though, with a relaxed vibe and comfortable seating. I liked the warm lighting and the decor.

The sriracha tater tots were a real treat, and the halloumi fries were perfectly salty. I found the bar stools a bit high for a long sit, but the staff were lovely about finding me a more comfortable spot.

Been coming here for years. The room's always spotless and comfy, the food's consistently good. But the real draw for me is the location – it's so peaceful by the castle. That quiet never gets old.

The upstairs function room was really nice for our group. It's got a calm, spacious feel that worked well. Staff were helpful with the setup too.

They've really done up the outdoor bit since I was last here. It's a nice spot now, loads of comfy seating and proper shade. Perfect for a lazy afternoon.

The carvery's a solid choice. Had the roast beef and pork, both cooked just right. Plenty of veg too, all fresh. Staff were really on it, checking in without being overbearing. Good portion for the price.

Had a late lunch, no booking needed. The outdoor area is nice for a warm day, and they have a fire going inside. Staff were friendly when we arrived.

Staff are so lovely and polite. The coffee is always fantastic, just the right strength. It's the kind of place that feels warm the moment you step in.

We celebrated a birthday at The Vine, and the food was fantastic! Our server, Victoria, went above and beyond to make the occasion special. Highly recommend this place for any celebration.
