Warm welcome and the staff actually knew their wine list—helped me pick a nice red to go with the steak. Cozy vibe inside, perfect for a slow dinner.

The cappuccino was spot on, and those sofas are dangerously comfy. Entrance is a bit hidden though.

The food is always good and prices are fair. Staff were friendly and made it easy to just relax and enjoy the meal. A dependable spot in the area.

The pasta was solid, and the staff were genuinely cool. Service stayed quick even when it got busy.

We stopped by on a weekday evening, no reservation needed. The menu’s small and changes often, which I like. Everything tasted fresh, clearly prepared with some care. Staff were friendly and flexible with portions, which was nice. Prices felt fair for what we got. Decent spot if you’re in the area and want something simple but done well.

Lovely warm vibe inside, and they really take care of you. Came back twice during the NUTS weekend, felt properly welcome both times.

The Hoi A treasures and the Mekong noodle bowl were really good. You could taste the care in the broth, deep and layered. Not the usual tourist stuff. I'd go back just for that bowl, honestly.

Sat outside with a Viez and went for the Träipen with Teerdisch. The black pudding was braised just right with onions and apple, and the mash and sauerkraut worked well with it. Proper rustic stuff. Only thing—service took a bit to get to us, but the food made up for it.

Solid Japanese comfort food in Trier. The hikiniku curry rice was well-seasoned, kimchi had a nice citrusy kick. Service quick and friendly. Gets busy on weekends though, so book ahead.

Stopped by for coffee and cake — both were solid. The young woman at the counter was really friendly, and they didn’t mind our dog hanging out with us. Only thing: the seating near the window is a bit cramped, so we didn’t stay as long as we wanted. Fine for a quick stop though.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the rustic dining room added to the charm. The food was well-seasoned and satisfying.

The garden seating really makes this place. Quiet enough to actually hear yourself think, and the food matches the vibe. Had the cake too—simple but good. Prices fair for what you get. Just wish they’d clear the empty plates a bit faster.

The view from the terrace is really lovely, especially in the morning. Breakfast was simple but fresh, and the staff tried their best to help even though their English was limited. We managed fine with pointing and smiling. The seating outside was comfortable, which I appreciated. A nice spot to start the day if you're staying nearby.

Pasta was decent, pizza even better. Good pick if you want a casual bite and a local beer. Service friendly enough.

Stopped by for a bubble waffle and it was actually really good. Got the one with coffee on the side, which was a nice combo. Place was quiet when I walked in, service quick. Waffle was filling enough that I skipped lunch after. Would come back if I'm in the area again.
