The vegan burger patty had a good texture, not mushy. The beetroot and quinoa mix held together well. Could have used a bit more seasoning in the patty itself, but the garlic aioli helped.

Been coming here for years. The green curry is always spot on - has a proper kick but doesn't overwhelm. Generous portion too, leaves you full. It's my go-to when I can't be bothered cooking.

Grabbed a quick bite at the window table. The sunset over the beach was the best part. Food came fast, which is what I needed. Solid spot for a speedy lunch with a view.

Been coming here for years, and the samosa chaat is the reason. It's always just right - crispy, tangy, not too heavy. That consistency keeps me coming back. The place gets busy, sure, but I don't mind waiting for that plate.

The building is gorgeous and has so much history. Felt really special having dinner there with friends.

First time here for many years. Great food, great service and good selection of beer's etconly one grumble, ordered a side dish of Dauphinoise potato's somewhere around the £3 mark. they arrived welded into a small ramakin dish and nice as they were there wasn't much more than a desert spoon full. Otherwise very happy an would recommend.

Been coming here for years. Love the back room, it's always quiet. Perfect for a pint and a chat. The railway stuff on the walls is a nice touch, feels proper local.

Love the vibe here. The lighting is just right, not too bright, and the booths are comfy. Always get the chicken curry, it's a solid choice.

Been here a few times with mates. It's our go-to for a catch-up. The staff are always so friendly and quick, which is great when you're just trying to have a relaxed chat. The food is exactly what you expect from Nando's, nothing crazy, but that's the point.

Steak was spot on, and the service was really attentive. Can't think of anything to complain about.

The young guy working solo was so friendly and helpful. Coffee and sandwiches were a nice touch with our ice cream.

This is now our go to carvery. Every visit is the same good service, good quality food and very welcoming, even if we have not booked a table. Thanks

The Christmas bottomless brunch was fun! Our waiter John was so helpful, really made it easy for our group to just relax and enjoy.

The sausage barm is spot on. Perfect for a quick bite with mates.

The habanero sauce here is a game changer! Just the right amount of kick on my sandwich, and you can watch them make everything fresh. So good.

The rooms are huge and so comfy, spotless too. Loved waking up to that river view - felt like a proper little escape from the buzz downstairs. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with the girls.

Good spot in the hotel. The steak was cooked just right. Decent portions, didn't leave hungry. Service was friendly. Solid meal.

Vegan pizza here. The base was surprisingly light and fluffy, which I really enjoyed. A solid plant-based option if you're in the mood for it.

Really liked the vibe for a catch-up with mates. The food and drinks menu is solid, and the portions are decent for what you pay. The free water fountain was a nice touch - saved us a few quid on bottled water!

Been coming here for years, and the vibe's always spot on. It's got that lively buzz that makes a simple meal feel like a proper night out. Never disappoints on that front.

Been a regular for years now. What keeps me coming back is the consistency - the steak frites is always cooked just right, same great flavour every time. That's rare these days.

Had a quick drink at the bar during the rush. It was surprisingly calm and spacious, which was nice. The bartender was really friendly and got my order sorted quickly. A comfortable spot to unwind.

The birthday dessert they brought out was a lovely touch. I really appreciated that they used fresh berries on top, not the usual syrup. It felt like a thoughtful detail for a special meal.

The staff were so lovely and chatty! Felt really relaxed here, perfect for catching up with friends over a few small plates. The outdoor area is gorgeous when the weather's nice. A bit on the pricier side, but we had a great time.

A really nice spot for breakfast. The food was imaginative and tasty, and the prices felt reasonable. What stood out was how dog-friendly they are – my little one was made to feel very welcome. The staff were attentive without being overbearing.

Decided to try their Wednesday deal - two courses for a set price. The vegetarian falafel and the paella were both really nice. Staff were friendly and professional, which made for a relaxed midweek dinner.

Service was prompt and attentive from start to finish. They kept an eye on our table without hovering, water glasses were always full, and plates were cleared at the right time. Made for a smooth, efficient dinner.

Solid Sunday roast. Proper beef, huge Yorkshire pudding. Good portions. Nice staff. Old pub front, newer bit out back by the canal. Decent for the price.

The team here are genuinely lovely, even on a packed Friday night. They checked in without being overbearing, and sorted a small mix-up with my order quickly and with a smile. That kind of attentive but relaxed service really makes a difference.
