The steak and ale pie was just like my nan used to make. So comforting. The pastry was golden and flaky, the filling rich and hearty. It's the kind of food that just makes you feel good. A real taste of home.

Staff were so lovely, especially Becky the manager. She really looked after us and made the whole evening feel special. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, perfect for a catch-up with friends. Just a really nice spot.

A quiet weekday lunch with my sister. I really appreciated how they handled my request to swap the side salad for extra grilled veggies without any fuss. The greens in my main were so crisp and fresh, you could tell they were prepped that morning. Made for a really satisfying, light meal.

Nice spot for events. They had a free buffet last time, which was a pleasant surprise. The karaoke nights are decent fun.

The atmosphere at Flight Club is fantastic, making it a perfect spot for a fun night out with friends or family. Everyone around us was enjoying their games, which added to the overall experience.

Great for gluten-free options. They have a separate fryer which is a nice touch.

The service was excellent, with attentive staff who made sure our needs were met. The chicken club sandwich was a standout dish.

Been coming here for years. Always a good spot to catch the game, and the beer selection never disappoints.

Been here for their afternoon tea a few times. Sandwiches are fresh, scones are warm. Service is always spot on. It's a decent option if you're in the area and fancy a cuppa.

Great spot in Shambles Square. The building itself has that proper old pub feel, which is nice. Had the fish and chips. Portion was huge, honestly couldn't finish it all. Good for the price you pay.

I loved the spacious design of the bar, both inside and outside. It creates a welcoming environment, and the beer garden is a lovely place to unwind, even when it gets busy.

Popped in for a quick bite and the bangers and mash hit the spot. Sausage had a proper snap to it, mash was light and creamy. Grabbed a Nicholsons pale ale and watched the match on the telly. Just what I needed.

Perfect spot for a quick bite. The burger and fries came out super fast. Staff were friendly and efficient. Just what I needed on a busy lunch break.

The Alchemist is a must-visit! The ambiance is lively, and the drinks are theatrical and fun, making it a great spot for a night out.

Menu's got loads of interesting stuff, took me a minute to decide. Food came out quick, which is what I needed. Everything was cooked spot on. Good for a quick bite.

Came for lunch before Christmas, it was packed. Staff handled the rush pretty well, food came out hot. A decent meal overall, though it was a bit noisy.

Been here a few times. The gluten-free menu is a lifesaver for my partner. Food always comes out quick, and it's tasty. Nice to have a reliable spot nearby.

Lovely lunch and mini pud with coffee. Nice atmosphere complete with log fire adding to the cosy setting. Service from Lynn fabulous as ever.

Perfect spot to unwind after shopping. The steak & ale pie was so filling, great for sharing with a friend.

The portions here are really generous. I had the chicken curry and it was a proper, hearty meal. The price felt fair for what you get, nothing fancy but solid and satisfying.

Popped in for a full English. Got it quick even though they were packed. Bacon was spot on, beans not too runny. Price felt fair. Just a solid, no-fuss fry-up.

The haddock and chips here are unreal. Crispy batter, flaky fish, proper chips. Mushy peas on point. Their tartar sauce and curry sauce really make it. Best I've had, hands down.

Just had the carvery for lunch. Quick service, friendly staff. The roast beef was spot on, proper Yorkshire pudding too. Good for a quick bite. Menu's a bit limited but does the job.

Fish and chips meal deal. Fish was flaky, batter not greasy. Served hot and quick, perfect for a lunch break.

Tasha and Alex were so nice! They remembered we were celebrating a friend's new job and brought over a little extra dessert on the house. It was a sweet touch that made our night. The manager was also really friendly and checked in. Staff like that make you want to come back with friends.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. The bar staff remember my usual drink, and the servers are never in a rush. It's that kind of reliable, friendly vibe that keeps me coming back.

Love that they have vegan options! The spinach chickpea burger was a solid choice for our group. Nice to sit outside too.

Didn't eat, but the food smelled pretty good. A decent selection of beers. Brooke was great, very attentive and kept checking on everyone.
