A really cosy little spot, love the vibe. The veggie breakfast was spot on, and the cakes in the fridge looked amazing. Staff were lovely too.

Cosy spot with a nice menu. Went for the two-course deal - the salmon was cooked just right, flaky and not dry at all. Decent portion for the price.

Always stop here on my bike rides. The homemade flapjacks are perfect for a quick energy boost with friends before we head off again. The coffee's good too. In summer, the outside van makes it super quick to grab and go. A solid little pit stop!

The curry sauce is the star here. It’s got a good depth of flavour, not too sweet, and clings to the chips just right. The mushy peas are solid, properly seasoned. That’s pretty much all I care about.

The window tables have such a lovely view of the bay. A nice spot for a coffee, the ingredients in my salad tasted really fresh too.

Been coming here for years. The lamb biryani is always spot on, tender meat and the rice is never greasy. Chicken mandi's good too. It's the kind of reliable food you want after a long day.

Food was outstanding, you could taste the care in every dish. Even the simplest items had subtle touches. I was particularly impressed by their wine list - found a lovely red that paired perfectly with the lamb. A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for that attention to detail.

I came here for a working lunch. The sandwiches are decent, but I found the portion size a bit small for the price. It's a smart spot, just wish there was a bit more on the plate.

Food came out as it was ready, so everything was fresh and hot. Flavors were vibrant. Service was efficient, though the pacing might not suit everyone. Good for a quick business lunch.

The avocado and feta on toast was the star. The feta was creamy, not too salty, and the avocado was perfectly ripe. The bread had a nice crunch. The unlimited tea was a nice touch, though the coffee was a bit weak.

The smashed burgers were spot on, really juicy. Those peri fries are dangerously moreish – ended up getting a second portion. Staff were good at explaining the lunch specials.

The burger patty was cooked just right, not dry at all. The fries were hot and crispy straight out of the bag. It's exactly what you want from a quick drive-thru meal.

The non-alcoholic Sunrise mocktail here is a real find. It's got this lovely, fresh citrusy kick that I wasn't expecting from a mocktail. Ended up ordering a second one!

The full English breakfast is a good deal. Sausages had a nice snap, the bacon was properly crispy, and the black pudding was spot on. The beans were a bit too sweet for my taste, but the eggs were cooked just right. Solid portion for the price.

Lovely little find in Bashful Alley! Great spot for a catch-up with a friend over coffee and cake. They've got some nice veggie and gluten-free choices too.

Been coming here for years, even after the change in ownership. The carbonara is still my go-to, always consistent and creamy. Nice to see the place getting a bit of a refresh too.

Decent food and drinks, reasonably priced. The staff were pleasant and attentive, which was nice. The indoor area felt warm and dry - a welcome change on a damp evening. A solid spot for a casual meal.

Been coming here for years, and that crispy skin-on salmon is the reason. They always get it right, not soggy. I just ask them to take the skin off when I order, and they do it no fuss. Simple, but it's why I keep coming back.

The Sunday roast was pretty good, especially the turkey. Portions were generous. Staff were friendly.

Booked ahead, still had to wait a bit for a table. Food came out slower than expected, maybe because it was packed. The pasta was good, but the wait between courses felt long.

Love the vibe in this old building! Came for a drink with mates, and the original features are so cool. Felt like stepping back in time. A really unique spot for a casual catch-up.

The curly-haired server was so warm and helpful. She took time to explain the menu and the fresh ingredients, which I really appreciated.

The staff here are so lovely. They're polite and attentive, but never hover or make you feel rushed. It's a really comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

A decent spot. It's clean and they've got plenty of tables, which is nice. The food arrives hot, which I appreciate. The fish and chips were pretty good, though the chips could have been a bit crispier.

Been here a few times. Kae and the team are always on it, remember what you like. Makes a quiet dinner out feel a bit nicer. Service is solid, no fuss.

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch post-renovation. The new decor is clean but feels a bit sterile, lacks the old warmth. Service was the main issue – had to wave down staff twice, once to order and again for cutlery. Food itself was fine, but the wait detracted.
