The Cavendish Historic Hotel London boasts a superb location in the heart of London, at 81 Jermyn Street. — traveler post in Blackpool

The Cavendish Historic Hotel London boasts a superb location in the heart of London, at 81 Jermyn Street.

🏙️The Cavendish Historical Hotel in London with a superb location💼🌟 Located in the heart of London at 81 Jermyn Street, the Cavendish Historical Hotel is a fantastic place to experience the city's charm! 🏙️ Just minutes' walk from Piccadilly Circus Underground Station and a short walk from the bustling Fortnum & Mason shopping center, its location is incredibly convenient, making your trip much easier! 🚶‍♀️💼 The hotel's location is truly exceptional, close to major attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge, St. James's Park, and even Westminster Abbey and the London Eye are easily accessible. The décor is a blend of elegance and modernity, avoiding any "dark retro trap"—the rooms are bright and full of contemporary London style✨. The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, and the buffet breakfast is highly praised. Worried about getting up early and going hungry? Don't worry, you can sleep in a little longer in the morning; there are also fantastic restaurants nearby such as The Park Room and Umu to choose from! 🍳🥐 The room experience was truly enviable. The comfortable king-size bed with soft bedding made every night's rest a blissful experience! The room size was definitely comfortable enough, even traveling with children, there was no need to feel cramped 🏞️. The room amenities were very thoughtful, including a capsule coffee machine, toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes. The bedroom was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing bath. Some executive rooms even offer views of Westminster and the London Eye at night, adding a touch of romance! 🌟🎡 A little tip: After visiting the London Eye, Hyde Park, or St. James's Park, and want some peace and quiet? Try sitting down at the hotel's afternoon tea area, ordering a pot of tea and some snacks—you can't go wrong! Every sip is quintessentially British, reasonably priced, and highly recommended! Then you can stroll around to nearby restaurants and try something different, like Andromeda Restaurant – that's part of the fun of traveling! 🍹🥗 Of course, even the best experiences have their downsides. Some rooms aren't very soundproof; sometimes you can hear faint noises from next door or in the hallway – it's a bit of luck. If you don't have high demands for perfect curtains or Wi-Fi, you can choose this without worry. The rooms themselves are also slightly traditional, so don't expect too much high-tech stuff, haha! 🛋️📶 Overall, staying at the Cavendish Hotel is a very worthwhile London experience! Considering the location, attentive service, and super comfortable room decor, it's highly recommended even for a short stay! The world is so vast; every glimpse of the mountains and seas is worth experiencing, allowing the power of nature to gently soothe all your anxieties. We are always searching for meaning, yet we forget that it hides in every step we take to set off, and in every moment we converse with nature. When you leave your familiar surroundings and step into unknown landscapes, you will discover that happiness can actually be so simple. You don't need expensive gear or a perfect plan—just a heart willing to feel. Watching the clouds drift, listening to the wind's whisper, and feeling the dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves... these subtle beauties quietly heal our souls, which have been roughened by the daily grind. Nature is the greatest teacher. It teaches us to settle our minds, to let go, and to embrace our own imperfections. On our journeys, we meet different people and hear diverse stories, which ultimately transform into shining milestones in our lives. Someday in the future, these milestones will become the strength that keeps us moving forward. So, stop hesitating and stop waiting. Set off and embrace this vibrant world, letting the power of nature fill you with the courage to start anew.

Stepping into this street is like entering a well-worn colle — traveler post in Blackpool

Stepping into this street is like entering a well-worn collection of essays, each page brimming with delicate emotions and unique charm. The architecture here is eclectic, with European arches and Southeast Asian spires blending wonderfully. Hanging on the walls might be strings of dried chilies or woven wicker baskets—these everyday objects appear especially vibrant in the sunlight. The streets aren't wide, and some are even winding, but it's precisely this irregularity that gives them a sense of adventure. You never know what you'll encounter around the next corner. Perhaps it's an old craftsman, his rough yet nimble fingers transforming ordinary materials into exquisite works of art; or perhaps it's a hidden old bookstore tucked away in an alley, where the aroma of paper and ink fills the air, and time seems to stand still. The sounds here are rich and layered: the crisp ringing of bicycle bells, the faint tinkling of wind chimes in the distance, and the soft whispers of people talking—not noisy, but rather like background music, enhancing the rare tranquility. This kind of street art is a beauty that has been refined and deepened. It's understated and quiet, yet it possesses a power to touch the heart, subtly allowing people to lower their guard and surrender their hearts to this land, to experience its pure and genuine beauty. #NewYearDestinations2026 #travel2026

The Perfect Blackpool Day Out From Manchester — traveler post in Blackpool

The Perfect Blackpool Day Out From Manchester

Blackpool is one of the easiest and most fun day trips from Manchester. There's loads to do, and it's perfect if you fancy a seaside escape without travelling too far. My biggest tip is to grab a day ticket that covers both the buses & trams. It makes getting around so much easier. Start your day at North Pier and take a stroll along the seafront. After that, head to Blackpool Pleasure Beach if you're into rollercoasters and rides. If thrill rides aren't your thing, SEA LIFE Blackpool is another great shout. When you need a break, make your way to Notarianni Ices. Their ice creams are massive, delicious, and pretty much a Blackpool tradition at this point. One thing I always end up spending way too much time doing is visiting the gaming arcades. They're ridiculously addictive, packed with games, and honestly so much fun. Just remember to bring some ID, as a few machines may require it. For lunch, you'll find plenty of cafes, restaurants, and takeaway spots around the promenade & piers. Afterwards, have a wander through the town centre, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy a final walk by the sea before heading back to Manchester. Simple, fun, and well worth the trip. 🎢🍦🌊

While packing my bags the night before the trip, I tucked an unopened journal and my go-to fountain pen into my backpack's side pocket, stepping into the long-booked stay.

While packing my bags the night before the trip, I made sure to tuck an unopened journal and my go-to fountain pen into the side pocket of my backpack. Stepping through the doors of the boutique stay I had booked ages ago, I was greeted by the front desk staff waiting with a steaming pot of herbal tea. My room's balcony opened up to a sweeping, lush green view, and a small bag of local handmade honey candies rested on the nightstand. For the rest of the trip, I didn't force any strict itineraries on myself. Every morning, I’d wake up, lean against the balcony railing to catch the cool breeze for a few minutes, and then take a slow stroll down to the restaurant for a freshly baked waffle. Sometimes, I’d wander down quiet, uncrowded alleys, stopping at a handmade textile stand to chat with the owner for half an hour, soaking in the little stories behind every woven piece. Other times, I’d follow the scent of coffee drifting down the street into a hidden café, order a signature drink I’d never tried, and grab a window seat to people-watch. Returning to the stay in the evenings, the front desk always remembered the exact temperature I liked my hot drinks, handing me a cup perfectly ready to sip. I’d settle into the long sofa in the lounge and jot down all the tiny, beautiful surprises of the day in my journal. There was no pressure to check off tourist hotspots, and no frantic rushing around. Even “wasting” an afternoon just sitting by the road watching the clouds roll by felt like pure bliss. The intricate details of those textiles, the unique aroma of coffee sliding down my throat, and the warm smiles of the shop owners—they’ll all come to life again vividly whenever I flip through that journal. I didn’t come back with many staged landscape shots from this trip, but I managed to pack every single line of my journal with a profound sense of relaxation. Even months after coming home, I can still catch the sweet scent of herbs lingering between the lines.

🇬🇧 The Cavendish London | A Super Central British Classic ✨ — traveler post in Blackpool

🇬🇧 The Cavendish London | A Super Central British Classic ✨

🏛️ The Cavendish London is located in the heart of London, at 81 Jermyn Street St James's, an absolutely prime location! It's just a few minutes' walk from Piccadilly Circus tube station, surrounded by all sorts of trendy restaurants and cafes. You can walk to London's main attractions, such as St. James's Park, the Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye. It's truly a blessing for travelers. 🔑 The biggest highlight of this hotel is its location. It's only about a 10-minute walk to shopping and dining hotspots like Oxford Street, Regent Street, and Leicester Square. The front desk staff are very friendly, and check-in is quick and efficient. The hotel itself has a simple British style, with a touch of classic elegance. Although some of the decor might seem a bit dated, the overall comfort is excellent. Rooms are equipped with a kettle, capsule coffee machine, bathrobes, and toiletries, and even thoughtful slippers are provided. The overall service is meticulous ✨. 🛏️ We stayed in an Executive King Room, which was very spacious, with a well-designed and cozy layout, perfect for relaxation. The bathroom features a bathtub and a separate shower, and the toiletries are of excellent quality. The bed was just the right firmness, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. While some rooms might occasionally hear noise from neighbors, the well-soundproofed rooms are truly quiet and offer views of the London Eye and Westminster area, making it excellent value for money. 🍴 The breakfast buffet is a major highlight, offering both hot and cold dishes, as well as freshly made-to-order items, easily satisfying all tastes. However, I think the variety of breakfast options could be richer, especially the speed of replenishing eggs was a bit slow, but overall it was still delicious! Additionally, the English afternoon tea here is also worth trying; it's very exquisite, and dessert lovers absolutely shouldn't miss it. 🔍 With the hotel as your base, strolling around the area couldn't be more pleasant! I recommend taking a walk in St. James's Park or enjoying London's leisurely pace along the river. After dinner, you can visit the nearby National Gallery and Westminster Abbey. For dinner, why not try nearby restaurants like TwoRuba or The Park Room? Both offer good food and ambiance. 💡 As for drawbacks, mainly some room facilities are a bit old, and the power outlet locations are not ideal, making charging at night a bit inconvenient. Also, the hot water in the shower takes a little longer to come out, and the Wi-Fi speed could be improved for an even more perfect stay! Overall, The Cavendish London is very suitable as a base for exploring London. Its location, service, and experience are all highly commendable, perfectly fulfilling a trip that balances travel and relaxation. The next time I visit London, I will definitely consider this hotel again! 💼❤️

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

it was very good experience to go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, around October they have beautiful illumination that we can see from around 6 pm until 10 pm. While waiting for the lights, we could even have fun in arcades.

The Blackpool Tower

Very tall. Very nice. Very amazing. The view from the top is incredible. We went at the back end of summer so it was busy but was definitely not crowded at the top. There was loads of room to walk freely round. 10/10

Central Pier

[Scenery] Central Pier has a great view! Definitely not to be missed, the boardwalk is great and you can overlook the city scenery [Fun] Great experience, there is a paid parking lot nearby if you drive, and green travel methods such as the subway are recommended

SEA LIFE Blackpool

Ohh I love the SEALIFE 😍. it was my first time going to the aquarium and I wanted to experience it as a birthday present. it was beautiful, saw some seahorses, jellyfish, different species of fish. I even touched a starfish 😄. Best experience ever to be honest. Not to forget, there were some turtles and sharks too. Tickets were also affordable, about £20 I think.

Sandcastle Waterpark Blackpool

[Scenery] The Horror Crypt and this sandcastle water park are both seasonal. In summer, they tend to have water activities, and in winter, they have mechanical toy activities. [Fun] There are a lot of people laughing and talking, it's interesting
