Been coming here for years, and the portions are always so generous. You really get your money's worth. The quality's stayed solid too, which is nice.

Service was friendly and quick. They moved my seat when I mentioned it was a bit chilly, no fuss at all.

Breakfast was spot on, food came out hot and tasty. Perfect for a chilled catch-up with mates before the day gets busy. The vibe is just right for a group.

The pensioner's specials are a proper bargain. My portion was huge, I couldn't finish it all. Good, honest food for the price.

Friendly service and the food came out quickly. It's nice being able to see the fresh ingredients being prepped in the open kitchen.

Food's good, especially when it's fresh. They make it right in front of you, so you see the effort.

The veggie jalapeno burger is my go-to. My partner liked the beef wrap, and for a fiver with two drinks, you can't go wrong.

Great location for match days, right by Anfield. The LFC memorabilia, like the old seats used as shelves, is a nice touch for fans.

Decent portions, the wontons are nicely filled. Sweet and sour chicken was fine, but the salt and pepper chicken was the standout – tender and garlicky.

Been coming here for years, and the crispy duck is always spot on. Never had a bad one. The rest of the menu is solid, but I keep coming back for that duck.

The upstairs tea room is such a lovely spot. The climb is a bit of a trek, but those comfy chairs and the view over the high street are just right for a quiet afternoon.

The fish and chips portion was huge, the fillet was practically hanging off the plate! Really fresh fish, which I appreciate.

The menu really stood out for me. They clearly focus on quality ingredients, and you can taste the freshness in every dish. The grilled salmon with seasonal vegetables was perfectly cooked, and the greens tasted like they were just picked. A lovely, relaxed spot.

As someone who pays close attention to drink pairings, I was impressed. They had a good selection of wines that worked well with the gluten-free options. The staff knew their stuff when I asked for suggestions. Made the whole meal much smoother.

The Christmas set lunch was spot on. Each course arrived piping hot, the seasoning was just right, and the presentation was lovely. A really solid festive meal.

The burger was really tasty, the patty was juicy and cooked just right. The fries were nice and crispy too. A bit on the pricier side, but you can tell they use good stuff.

Stopped in for dessert after a walk. The outdoor seating was nice, and the staff were polite. That's about it. The place is fine for what it is.

The Sri Lankan curries here are so fresh. You can really taste the quality in the vegetables and the spices, they don't feel heavy at all. It's a nice change from the usual takeaway options. A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for good ingredients.

The staff are so friendly and welcoming, it makes for a really relaxed visit. The real ales are always spot on, too.

Service was efficient, food was prepared just right. Had the grilled salmon, it was a decent portion and cooked well. A bit on the pricey side, but fine for a quiet weeknight dinner.

Been coming here for lunch for years now. That consistency is what keeps me coming back - you know exactly what you're getting, and it's always solid. A proper local spot.

The team here are genuinely lovely. They remembered a fish we'd mentioned when booking and managed to get it in for us. A really nice touch. The sommelier's suggestion for a white wine to go with it was spot on.

Quick lunch spot. The chicken wrap was fresh and came out fast. Staff were friendly, place is spotless. Good for a quick bite. 👍

Came for the early bird specials and wasn't disappointed! The menu had so many options it was hard to choose. Ended up with the seafood pasta and it was spot on. The place itself is lovely and clean, felt really welcoming.

The lamb qouzi was lovely and tender. Portions are generous for the price, which is nice. I found the booth seating quite comfortable for a relaxed meal.
