The oysters were fresh, no question. And the beef stew&mdash;that sauce was deep, really rich. Got it on a recommendation from the hotel, worked out fine. Place felt a bit more formal than I&#39;d normally pick, but whatever. Not touristy, which surprised me. Solid meal for a last night in Bruges.

Been here a few times now and it stays pretty consistent. The flavors keep surprising me in a good way. Hosts actually remember you, which makes the whole place feel welcoming.

The shrimp croquettes here are seriously packed with shrimp. Probably the best I&#39;ve had along the coast, and I&#39;ve tried a few. Also got the rib-eye, cooked just right. Place was busy but we didn&#39;t wait too long. Would come back just for those croquettes honestly.
