The Sunday roast is decent value, and I like that they use local produce. The beef was pretty good, though the potatoes could have been a bit crispier. A solid choice for a relaxed weekend lunch.

Breakfast starts early, which is a plus. The food is decent, nothing fancy but it hits the spot. Price felt fair for what you get.

The service here is pretty good. Staff are friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. They kept an eye on our table without being intrusive. A solid experience overall.

Amelia gave a helpful rundown of the menu. The braised lamb shank was the standout - fell off the bone, rich sauce, really well done. That's what I'll remember.

Came with a big group, a few of us have dietary needs. The staff handled it really well, no fuss at all. The pasta was the standout - my mushroom tagliatelle was cooked just right, really flavourful. Made the evening easy.

Popped in for a quick pint and ended up staying for dinner. The steak and ale pie was proper comfort food - rich gravy and really tender beef. Just what you need on a damp evening.

Great spot right on the beach. Sat outside for a late lunch. The fish and chips were decent, but the view really made it. A bit pricey for what it was.

Came by for a late lunch on a sunny day. The vibe was really relaxed and elegant, just what I wanted. Staff were super nice and on top of things. Made for a really pleasant afternoon.

Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding was solid, generous portions. The vegan nut roast is a decent option too. Service was efficient, got us in and out for a business lunch.

The festive platter was lovely for sharing. The main courses were a bit hit or miss, but the portions are satisfying.

I popped in for a light lunch and was really impressed by the freshness of the salad ingredients. The greens were crisp, and the chicken tasted properly grilled, not just reheated. The table service app made ordering easy, and it arrived quickly even when the bar area got a bit crowded. A solid choice for a simple, fresh meal.

The Sunday roast was pretty good, and the pate starter was a nice addition. Decent spot for watching the harbour.

The burger was delicious. I really appreciated that they used fresh, locally sourced greens and a whole grain bun as an option. Made for a satisfying and balanced meal. The vibe here is nice, too.

Met up with friends here for a catch-up. The treacle tart was spot on, just like my nan used to make! The staff were really nice about swapping out the custard for cream for my mate. A good, relaxed spot for a long chat.

A proper cosy pub, this. The owner's a friendly chap - he was happy for us to bring in pasties from the bakery down the road. Sat outside with a pint and a pasty, just what you need.

Jo the landlady is a gem, really knows her stuff. She explained the specials with such detail, you could tell she’s passionate about the food. Made the whole visit feel relaxed and personal. A proper local spot.

Visited the Salumi restaurant on Sunday the 30th. To celebrate two major events of that date. Firstly my 73rd birthday and my sons 11th Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant from the outside looks deceptive regarding its size. Though once inside the welcoming atmosphere and decor were totally delightful. The seating areas were spacious and the seats were very comfortable chairs. All the staff were friendly, polite, respectful and helpful and a credit to their profession. There were good varied choices on the menu. From which I chose the Sunday roast Turkey and Honey with all the trimmings and was totally delicious, and I enjoyed the brilliantly cooked food a lot. The best I have ever tasted in any restaurant. It was seriously that good. I was very impressed when the ordered food was delivered to our table, and the waiter that served us described every food item being served per plate per individual. NEVER had that done before, and it made one feel special somehow, but nice. It was a really nice additional touch to a perfect meal. The portions were generously large and well presented. The prices were more than reasonable and all 8 of us were well catered. Nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant staff at the Salumi. We all enjoyed our meals. I can't praise this restaurant or it's staff high enough. I highly recommend this restaurant ladies and Gents. Well worth a visit. The best was at the end. As being the birthday boy, I was given a FREEBI dish of sorbet ice cream and chocolate cake slice. My wife and I will definately be paying the Salumi restaurant another visit for sure.

Sam the barman was so welcoming. What really stood out for me was the fresh ingredients in the mocktail he suggested. You could taste the quality in every sip, which is exactly what I look for. A very comfortable spot to unwind.

Lovely little pub, the staff were so friendly. Had a couple of pints of their house ale, which was spot on. Shame there's no food, but still a nice spot for a drink.

The team here is so lovely, Kerry Beth and Jamie especially. Just really nice, attentive service.

The coffee refills are free, which is nice. But honestly, the food tastes like it's cheap. It's just... fine. Not much else to say about it.

Sunday carvery is solid. Roast beef was tender, veg selection is extensive and fresh - not overcooked. The cauliflower cheese stood out. Good value for a set lunch.

Right in town centre, so easy to meet up. Menu's got plenty to choose from. Food arrived quick, which was nice. My steak was cooked just right, really enjoyed it.

Popped in for a pint after a walk. The space is huge and spotless, really fresh feel. But the view from the terrace is the real draw—just spectacular. Menu looked good, might come back to eat.

Been coming here for years. The halloumi fries are always spot on - crispy outside, soft inside, never greasy. That's what keeps me coming back.

The portions are huge here! I couldn't finish my pasta, but it was so tasty I had to take it home. Love that they're so welcoming to dogs 🐕. A solid spot.

Friendly bar staff and the outdoor area's nicely sheltered. Good drink deals, had a couple pints and stayed dry even when it drizzled. Solid spot for that.

The cod was fresh and flaky, the batter crisp. Chips were proper, not greasy. Service was spot-on and genuinely friendly. It’s a proper local pub, full of families making a nice buzz. A solid meal.

Lovely spot for a catch-up with friends. The nautical theme is so cosy, and the staff are genuinely friendly. They even remembered my friend's usual order! Made it feel like a proper local.
