Decent spot for a quick meal. Got the student discount, which made it good value. Food came fast and tasted fine. Place is a bit cramped, but for the price, no complaints.

I don&#39;t know HOW this restaurant is rated 4.5 stars. Terrible service, terrible prices, terrible quality.Very poor service: old man running the restaurant was highly impatient and wife scammed us on price conversion -- tip: they only accept cash.The value is terrible. The equivalent of 60USD (50CHF) for a grease-soaked plastic container of fried rice (incredibly bland and tasteless) with a count of (5) small strips of chicken and a heart-attack-inducing greasy noodle dish, served with more salt than is in the Atlantic ocean.We tried to be hospitable and nice to the owner, but they responded with indifference, short temper, and annoyance. Insanely rude service, especially from the chef.Yeah, I understand, the prices in Switzerland are crazy expensive, but I wouldn&#39;t feed this food to my dog. Not worth $30 a dish. My tip? Don&#39;t go. Unless you want to be insulted and go to the least hospitable place in Murren.

The interior felt a bit like an Ikea beach house&mdash;light wood, lots of white. Not bad, just not super cozy. But the lake and mountain view from the table made up for it. I had the fish and it was fresh, came out quick. Service was friendly too. Would sit by the window again, just maybe bring a cushion.

The Thai coconut curry rice reminded me of Singaporean cai fan but better. CHF 11 for a takeaway box is fair for the portion. They&#39;ve got pricier made-to-order stuff too, though I didn&#39;t try those. Solid spot if you&#39;re nearby and want something quick.

Stopped by for a coffee and a pastry &mdash; the selection is solid, lots of Swiss classics. Terrace is the real draw, great view of the mountains. Got a bit crowded later in the morning, but I found a spot. Fine for a quick break if you&#39;re in the area.

The buffet spread at brunch is solid. Lots of fresh stuff, and the made-to-order eggs were a nice touch. Good spot for a quick bite.

The fish and chips were decent&mdash;not too oily, and the portion felt right. Service was quick, which I appreciated since it was late and most places had already closed.
