Amazing food and excellent service from Sharon who went "over and above" to ensure we all had a fantastic experience; only our second visit, we will definitely make it a first port of call when meeting family/friends for a celebratory meal, plus recommend it to others

The grilled cheese was loaded and the tomato soup was a perfect match for a glass of house red. Fries were solid, too.

Been coming here for years. They always remember my dairy allergy and have a great apple pie option.

The Sunday roast. The beef was cooked just right, not dry at all. Big portion. The cauliflower cheese was the best part, really creamy and rich. Gravy was good too. Everything came out hot. Decent price for what you get.

Ordered the Classic English and Eggs Royale. Both were cooked fresh, which was nice. The portions were decent for the price, you definitely get a proper plateful. Good for a filling breakfast without feeling ripped off.

The scallops were juicy, sauce was great. Whitebait and soup were solid. Chocolate fondant with honey ice cream was a nice finish. Quick and tasty lunch.

The steak was cooked exactly as ordered, medium-rare. Juicy and flavourful, with a good sear on the outside. The peppercorn sauce was rich but not overpowering. A solid main course.

The place was buzzing, which I always like. The music and decor really did feel authentic. It was a bit loud for a proper chat, but the energy was great.

Meal for a family of 4 after a visit to Tapnell Farm, staff were polite, pleasant and helpful. Drinks arrived promptly, food not long after. Recommend The Matador burger for me, the chicken wrap my daughter smashed, hotdog demolished by my son, and hubby had the big smoke burger which he enjoyed. Recommend to visit but booking is advisable to get a table no matter what season

The Chateaubriand was a decent cut, and carving it at the table was a nice touch. The service was efficient, though perhaps a little too quick for a relaxed evening. My kids were happy with their pizzas.

Great selection of ales, perfect for a casual pint.

Popped in for lunch after shopping at Westquay. It's nice and spacious, which I always appreciate. The staff were very friendly and didn't rush us at all. We had the fish and chips, and it was just what we needed. A comfortable spot to take a break.

My friend and I have eaten here 3 times in the last couple of months, drawn back by the 'buy one get one free main course' offer. Each time the staff have been excellent, friendly, helpful and we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Came for the buffet with a few friends. The space is really well-designed, with high ceilings and those big, comfortable booths. Felt relaxed just sitting there, even when it got busy. Food was fresh and had good variety.

First time here, went for the Chef's Special Breakfast. The eggs were fine, but the mushrooms were the star – really flavourful and buttery. Classic diner vibe, which I liked. Service was quick.

Really liked the pet-friendly vibe here, and it's just a short walk from the beach. The staff were all lovely. My steak was cooked just right, which was nice.

Nice little spot. The teacakes are a treat, but the coffee could be a bit stronger.

I have celiac disease, and the staff here, like Becky, really know their stuff about cross-contamination. It’s a relief to find a kitchen that takes it seriously. Makes the whole experience way less stressful.

Been coming here for years. The Caesar salad is always fresh, just right on a warm day. I usually head upstairs for a bit of quiet. It's a proper local spot.

The staff were really helpful with my dietary needs, suggesting a light soup that was pretty good.

Great little family-run Spanish place. The tapas are spot on - the patatas bravas had a nice kick, and the croquetas were creamy inside, crispy outside. Sat in their covered patio with the heaters on, felt just right for a cool evening. Solid Spanish beers to match.

Poole Quay's a great spot for this place. Grabbed a pint and some classic pub grub, just what you need with that harbour view. Solid spot to unwind.

Had the pasta with tomato sauce here. It was pretty good, reminded me of my nonna's cooking. The place is cozy and nicely lit. A decent spot for a quiet dinner.

Good spot for a quick business breakfast. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and the food was cooked fresh. Prices are reasonable for the area.

Nice Saturday lunch. The staff were so friendly when we arrived, which made it a really comfortable start.

The grilled octopus was spot on. Tender, with a nice char, and the lemon-herb dressing was sharp without being overpowering. That's the kind of simple, well-executed dish I come back for.

The team here is super friendly, especially with dogs. They squeezed in our group without a fuss and kept checking we were all settled. My pup got a water bowl and a pat, which was a nice touch.

Cosy little spot, feels like a family-run place. Had the beef stew and it was proper hearty, just what you want on a damp evening. A nice change from the usual chains.

The seafood linguine special was lovely. I really appreciated how fresh the scallops and prawns tasted. The garlic and chilli sauce had a nice kick without being overpowering. The pasta itself was cooked just right, not too soft. A good, simple dish where you can tell the ingredients are quality.

Pleasant pre Christmas get together with friends. Most courteous to request for special seating. Friendly and courteous service and great carvery with the extensive selection of seasonal and festive vegetables
